I'm planning to host a few miners in the coming weeks and was wondering which locations have the most famous mining facilities in the world. Could someone please let me know?

I Might say that you should just go to those countries that offer cheap electricity and also low rental costs and should have big budget system so that you might be able to earn some good money. And in future they might generate a handsome money because Bitcoin is the name for future and we should just hold Bitcoin and crypto for almost 20 years and you will see results with your own eyes.

The country with the highest level of advance technology that supply cheap electricity and lower coat of mining.

But even that is not too much a problem as many miners are already generating their own electricity from Renewable energy which are supply.

So if mimers supply their energy

Kazakhstan’s share in the global Bitcoin (BTC) hash rate decreased to 6.4% since the first quarter of 2022, which brought the carbon emissions of the whole network down 10%, according to ClimateTech Vice Chair Daniel Batten’s recent analysis.

I love how these experts manage to come up with these numbers, they know precisely what hashrate in Kazakstan is, they know precisely what type of fuel is burned to generate electricity for those, they know the percentage of renewables for each farm, and they are so accurate that they can pinpoint this in point zero zero x percentages!

For years everyone was saying how mining in China was mainly in Sichuan with green cheap hydroelectricity, afterward when the hash rate moved to the US and they needed to change their numbers they started claiming that mining in China was done with coal-generated electricity! Flexing numbers just so they can fit their agenda! Listening to this kind of crap is like listening to Musk and Aramco the same time!

Countries with significant Bitcoin mining operations include the United States, Canada, and Russia.
The United States is home to several large Bitcoin mining facilities, with operations in states such as Washington, Montana, and Texas. Canada has a relatively low energy cost, cool climate and abundant natural resources. The country is home to some of the world's largest mining facilities, with operations in provinces such as Quebec and British Columbia. Russia has a large amount of excess energy capacity. Some of the largest mining facilities in Russia are located in Siberia, where electricity costs are relatively low.  Iceland has a cold climate, abundant renewable energy resources and cheap electricity. Some of the largest mining facilities in Iceland are located in Reykjavik, the capital city.
Depending on your demand and what you are looking for, you can choose one from above.

What you could also consider is that you can just host a few miners for yourself to be able to heat your home/garage or whatever. The noise can be a problem, but this can be solved with some modifications to the miner.

As you might be aware that Bitcoin mining requires a lot of electricity. Along with electricity, you will need various machinery to mine your bitcoins. Many Bitcoin miners have confirmed that the amount of electricity they use to mine Bitcoin does not make their mining profitable with electricity bills. So you must think about these things before making up your mind.

Core Scientific, one of the largest publicly traded crypto mining companies in the U.S., is filing for bankruptcy.
The company still generates positive cash flow, and plans to continue mining while repaying debtholders.
The stock is down 98% this year as plunging crypto prices and rising energy prices made mining a much harder business.

Hi we are continually adding new hosting companies around the world.  You can check a list of them here: https://asic.guide/hosting

Most of the hosting providers that we have in our database are located in North America.  However, we are working hard to add more hosting companies based elsewhere.  If any of you have hosting companies you want us to add, please let us know!

If you mean physically located mining companies, then they are located in different regions and continents, for example Hut 8 Mining Corp is located in Canada and has three mining centers, two of them are located in Alberta, and one in Ontario. Cipher Mining Inc is based in New York, but also has data centers in Ukraine, for example, Canaan Inc in China, Marathon Digital Holdings, Inc in Nevada, of course there are smaller ones.

If you mean cloud mining, then it is better not to consider it at all, since this is a common ponzi scheme.

Best miners to mince Bitcoin with renewable energy sources like water energy z solar energy and other such energy that can be generated free.
I would not call them free energy. Especially if OP needs to set it up on his own. It might be even more expensive compared to a traditional electricity source, at least in the beginning. At the end of the day, what matters the most is profit and how long it takes to break even so you can start earning money from mining, so if OP can only get power from the grid but it is cheap enough then it is fine to do so.

Also, be careful of those hosted mining services. Some of them have unclear backgrounds and even if they have photos of their mining site, they might be fake. I've seen many scams centered around this kind of service where at the end of the day they stop the business without giving any meaningful ROI to its users.

OP, other than electricity cost, you might want to also look for their stance on Bitcoin, taxes, mining regulation, and so on in general. Some country has detailed regulation for mining while others don't. As far as I know, your earnings might be affected by this, especially if you need to do taxes. CMIIW.

I suggest you to chose only a place where you have possibly the cheapest electricity because this is the only thing that get in the way of profitability  I prefer green energy ( solar , Wind , Waler) ,
And buy higher end efficient miners that make high income and uses loss electricity .

May I know what country you are in mate? because based on my research it's fine to mine bitcoin or any cryptocurrency if your place is a cold place to get cheap electricity. or places where the electricity bill is cheap.

Also, it seems advisable that you should place the mini rig in a cold room, it is not possible to have one without air conditioning because it is open 24 hours. As far as I know, there are good facilities in Europe or Belgium.

Your question is not clear and also not proper but If you want to mine Bitcoin than go for best and Best miners to mince Bitcoin with renewable energy sources like water energy z solar energy and other such energy that can be generated free. Cause it will save you almost 100% of your earnings per month and that could be incredible.
And also there you go for USA, Canada, and also to those countries where expenses are very less as compared to yh other crypto right now.

I think this depends on what continent you're on. If it's America, Canada and Venezuela probably have the cheapest oil. If it's Europe the hotspot of mining is often Belgium but there might be other places where cheap electricity can be negotiated. Asia and the Middle East will be easy to find based on where units moved after the China mining ban (iirc kygrystan and kazakhstan).

I'm not sure whether mining plants get cheap electricity from the grid or produce their own and need their own generators and resources (such as from renewables - especially in places where it's possible to claim tax credits for being greener).
