I'm not sure you will get much sympathy here and only Paypal will be able to help you in this situation. This is why everyone will tell you not to trade a reversible currency (Paypal funds) for an irreversible currency (Bitcoin). You might have to take it as an expensive lesson to learn, it depends how much information you can find on the user and possibly file a police complaint.

I'm not so sure whether he will if he planned on scamming you. This should be a lesson not to use reversible payment methods.
