RVN has halving soon, so the price of the coin may rise.
It is better not to sell all the coins at once, but to leave some of the coins for the next year.

The miner gets the best profit if he holds part of the coins.

Imo via probability LHR will be fully hacked at some point long term. May or may not matter anyway since new algos will come and go on which these cards can mine successfully. I keep my eyes open and enter shuffles for ANY modern card I can reasonably afford, LHR or not. 3060 LHR I have mines rvn very well and is efficient.
It's what I think too, it's only a matter of time before we see a new hashrate unlock for 3070ti and other LHR cards, ravencoin on the other hand only makes sense if the profit is better cos that algorithm draws more power than ETH mining, today Sero coin is the most profitable on 3070ti but I stick with ETH because other coins drops faster in profits and I can't keep changing Alfi all the time, by the way ETH saves more power

I'll have to try again with nbminer with the LHR.  I was somewhat early with miniz on the unlock and with a lot of optimization work on RVN it's nearly neck and neck RVN vs Eth.  I'm getting nearly 22mh at 113 watts with RVN.  I'm more or less spec mining on RVN for now, seeing how many I can put away until the halving.  I'm flexible though.
22MH on ravencoin from 3060 is indeed very good, I have a 3070ti that's doing 35-36MH on ravencoin algorithm but ravencoin isn't the most profitable presently, octopus is better with 62MH and ETH is very close, the difference is just 0.5$, by the way what miner are you using?

Thanks, I'm happy with it.  I checked and pool side it's also showing 21.9mh average and I'm working on like 18 days constant uptime with zero invalid shares at the pool.  It's on HiveOS, trex miner and I've got 1300 locked core, 2000 mem, 120 PL and 75% fan.  Like I say I've been seeing consistent 113 watts in software.  I spent a reasonable few hours trying different settings and this is what I found was most efficient on hash per watt.

RVN is pretty much the only speculative coin I've been mining and will hodl, the rest by and large I'll focus on coins I can swap either on a dex or on a major exchange, I've got one I deal with and I'm sort of geofence limited.  IOW for me if X coin or octo is close to ether I'll always choose ether.  Unless something changes quite a bit either in difficulty or price I'm ok spec mining RVN with this one card, I'd be flexible to add a couple more but not so much more than that.  For reference I sometimes mine ETC on the small memory cards as well, I've got some that are heat sensitive and ETC is an easy coin to mine with them and then I do ok swing trading the ETC against eth or btc depending on strength.

At some point all of the LHR will be unlocked but until then will continue to buy up any non-LHR cards I can find. Got lucky with a 3060ti non-LHR find yesterday in a prebuilt machine someone was parting out. Outside of that and my 20xx series focusing most of my searches on 3080s.  They just seem to offer such a good bang for the buck both LHR and non-LHR.

ETH mining on 3070ti LHR are now more profitable than mining ravencoin, it's been days since this stays this way, mining ERGO was profitable more than ETH until NBminer 39.1 which gives me 56MH

While there have been great improvements to the 3070 ti thanks to NBminer it is still not the best option to mine as it consumes a lot of energy for the hash rate offered. That 55 Mhsh can easily be achieved by the Rx 5700 xt at 115 watt or by the Rtx 3060 ti with 120 watt which are better options but I know harder to find than the RTX 3070 ti.Still though I have seen one such card here in my local market place at 1000 EUR so maybe if I find no better option I can buy one but luckily the Rx 5700 xt-s are coming around where I am and I saw an ASUS Tuf Gaming new for 800 EUR which I think I will get.
What is your 3070ti power consumption? Mine is hashing at 57MH with 180watt, I don't know how to go lower than this anyways but I've seen where people talked about getting lower watt power on the card

I don't have one yet but I have seen in HiveOS this card to reach this high was doing 250 watt,if it is 180 watt it is not the most perfect consumption but I think it is a normal one I would say, mine Rx 6800 Xt-s do 64 Mhsh at 160 Watt so I think you are doing well with that power consumption. You are making me wanting to buy one,we,me and some friends will expand hopefully our hash rate around October-November and these numbers you say looks good to me because we don't pay that high of an electricity rate.I think it is better for us to buy a RTX 3070 ti if we have a chance rather than go for Rx 5700 xt,because I think the LHR is only for Eth and it can do pretty well in Ravencoin too the 3070 ti so it has more value in the long term.
