These are free riders are here because of the decentralization system as they are using this as an advantage. Actually these free riders are always present in the economy systems. Market will soon take action to weed out these free riders.

Quadratic Voting can be a solution for eliminating free riders from the crypto ecosystem but we also need to acknowledge the fact that without all these free riders crypto adoption, which has happened so far, wouldn't be in the stage where it is right now. But, with time, we should definitely omit them from the equation.

There will be people who will take the free ride and will make the most of this decentralized system by getting this free piggyback ride. We even face them too in reality as well. And we do need to come with ways to make them stop getting things all laid out on a plate.

Though it is just a concept right now, but free riders who are actually getting to be part of the crypto ecosystem should not be overlooked by the whole community and Kudos to Vitalik for finally recognizing the threat and trying to help the problem by providing the concept of solution. Hopefully, it will get implemented soon.

The main concern about the whole solution is that, the process of grant-making is not fully decentralized, so how it will become popular among crypto community should be an exciting thing to see but I am sure no one in this ecosystem would like to have free riders that are just making profit by leveraging others.

Actually these free riders are taking the advantages of decentralization system. These free riders are also common in the general economic system of the real world. We cannot spell them out fully but we can reduce their existence and impact.
