I've been driving a for a few months now since I passed my driving test, what exactly is so difficult about waiting or going round the busy normally if the road is clear? I have to deal with buses all the time because I live in the UK, if you're late to something, then its your own damn fault and you shouldn't put people at risk because of your own stupidity.

She was (as shown in the clip) arrested, and required to stand on a corner wearing a sign that says "Only an idiot drives on the sidewalk to avoid a school bus."

I tend to agree with that sentiment.
