I don’t see any significance with the dogecoin team developers as it’s very clear that they only exist for easy money and quick profits. Maybe the reason why they don’t have enough time to focus on their long term goals. So as expected, it still ends in failure like a worthless project. So if any new coin still follow a name of a worthless project, might as well most of the people won’t trust it anymore.

There’s no need to copy the name if you are not related to the original project at all, clearly they want the attention and do this on purpose it’s just that people are tired for this meme token and with DOGE they won’t have a good for that future hype. Having FOMO with your project is not good and risky at all, I won’t suggest any of this.

If you happen to read one of nutildah's post on one of the thread about Dogechain, the owner of this project had been multiple times reminded not to use Doge on its name but the owner decided to put the name with an intention of confusing investors and traders, trapping them to believe that this project has something to do with Dogecoin which is not. They even talk to the Dogecoin team but they were discouraged to use the name Dogechain.

Creating a own brand is one of the biggest dreams of a CEO and collaborating with the projects with hype is justifiable but straight up copying the name and offering the Co-founder of the branding they are copying is just crazy. Those sector you are pertaining is I think the degens, Those who are diving up on a project that has a high risk of being a scam as long as there are profits.

Regardless of the name, once these coins were actually made a good trading volume and established a hype, there's money flowing on that. It's not that traders want that coin as in favorite, but since it seems to be worth playing there, they will consider listing that coin on their respective portfolios.

I prefer to also test the waters there but not because I like that specific coin.

This is not a new way of scamming people, they use the same name to attract the same investor but its good that we are wise now when it comes to investing and this kind of project will not enjoy any success here because we are all aware about their plans. The hype may trigger a scam developer to ride in, but if you do your own analysis before investing I can say that those scammers will not succeed at all, eventually this will become a failed project, using doge name on a project that is not totally related to doge is already a failed project.

Even though it was founded like a joke, I don't think they have the option to neglect that offer because some persons may still see the dogechain like dogecoin itself.

If the team knew that Doge coin must take a part in Doge chain they should have meet the team of Doge coin before building Doge chain.

Maybe it rub some people the wrong way, but I'm thinking that there could be some that can fall for this trick and invest.

I somehow stumbled across Dogechain though because i had some stable coins laying around at Kucoin doing nothing so i wanted to try their trading bot and when i did that the Dogechain trading pair had the most votalitiy that is why i picked it evne though i did not know what it is.
After i did a little research and i read a few warnings that team wallets are already selling and that they hired only the scammiest influencers and so on, I stopped the bot for Dogechain and I am now running it on another trading pair.

I won't risk my funds in meme coins either because I don't think they serve any purpose. They will always pursue projects related to Doge just to take advantage of its fame. It will be a good strategy to start up a new project for them since there are still investors who trust Doge. However, those who are being too skeptical in choosing projects will get rid of it because there are still better investment opportunities that are worth the risk these days.

Its a personal kind of type of choice since not all would really be that avoiding meme coins included into their ports which does mean that even though this turns out to be a joke or meme coin but still

they are trying out to utilize the cheap value of it and hoping that there would be some significant value increase in the near future and it indeed happen when Musk did really make out some hype.

I heard about this project and I actually have a lot of skepticism about it. Looking at the ecosystem they're building, they really want to push the meme trend back when a bunch of stuff is happening. It's a very funny quality there.
And looking at the name, I can also understand the problem of taking advantage of the reputation of the big project Dogecoin to create an attraction, but honestly, it is like many other projects that I have known of before. This project just got listed on the Huobi exchange, they are making big efforts to say the truth and maybe they use doge name to attract people, we can't deny that people like meme coins and community coins more, we can see that with Shiba, doge and few others so bringing in a chain is not a bad idea, it's too early to say this is going to fail but I advice to invest very small money into this.

Doge chain chooses the wrong name

Hearing about the name Doge gives some reason why investors give no interest in this project and just simply decline this. But I don't think their intention to make successful, is not the thing I see it. They probably use the name Doge as it was already popular but unfortunately, the name Doge has been marked negatively leading to nothing and fewer market interactions. If ever this project will surge, I was certain that is because of manipulation which is very common to useless projects.

IMO, I believe that the namesake is not that important because the name or a brand can be built over time if you have a good use case and working products or even services to offer and for me, it can be a distinction.

Anyway, Doge Chain is a good name because Doge is already known and popular among many crypto users, so it's an advantage for the project but it's not enough the team must show to the crypto community that Doge Chain is a separate project with different and unique use cases to offer that can drive the demand of its token, and far from its namesake Dogecoin and popularly known as a meme coin or a joke!

The developer of dogechain has ambition to be the same like shiba inu, that's why he was trying to pay doge coin co founder and that was making so many critism was coming to this meme token. Doge chain developers must be ashamed with what they have been doing.

You get the point, Doge coin retain its idea of a meme coin, its not as if they can't bring in a chain network on their own, this is what most altcoins are doing, if there is metaverse let's add, if there is Dao lets add, if there is play to earn let's add, but Doge coin maintain its reason of existence.

Dogecoin was just something of a joke that they try to keep using in gambling and was not meant to be really taken seriously. The name was unimportant during that time, if you have been around when it was less than a cent, the other coins were named Trump coin or Putin coin. It was just meant to get BTC from someone who trades these coins.

Doge was just taken seriously due to the pump of Musk. Now it was under a lens and people see its decentralization after all no one decides on its path because the CEO abandoned it.
