I can say from physical evidence the ears of the two photos, that the real @Bruno has passed away.

I think someone may got his phone with login information for Bitcoitnalk forum, and with Bruno pictures/images.
Then he may edited that pictures.
It sure looks like different ear (or picture taken earlier before operation)
