If there's a fork of Bitcoin, then two things can happen:
* An Orphan chain.
* Another Altcoin.

So we are actually being very polite saying that XT is an altcoin, actually it will become nothing after all, only an orphan chain without hashpower.
I disagree is not altcoin,can you explain me how did you take this conclusion?? I challenge anyone who can prove that the bitcoinxt is altcoin not in words.. about the forum everyone expresses the opinion i just disagree with the restrictions entered to forum
Anyway theymos is admin theymos add the rules..

What's the problem here? He moved an altcoin discussion thread to altcoin discussion board.

The issue is the questionability of claiming that XT is an altcoin, as running XT gives access to exactly the same network as using Core (the fork cannot be triggered right now even if it had 100% network support). The blockchain is the same, the difference is a set of rules that are triggered in certain conditions.

In its own turn, the fork code on XT can (questionably) be an improvement (or not) to Bitcoin, and not a spinoff/fork by itself.

Im not really good at this but as far as i understand bitcoin xt is another way of using bitcoins, is it not? Why would someone call it an altcoin, isn´t that like calling bitcoin core an altcoin?

This and altcoiners that are repeatedly opening threads in the wrong section should be permabanned.

ya.ya.yo!
I would like to add that I support the idea of repeated offenders being punished. While what you suggested might be a bit too harsh, some members are constantly doing this and they need a warning.
So many threads are popping up in the B. Discussion section.  It would not be a issue if they actually contained something useful, or evidence to back up the posters claim.

Do you see a problem ? theymos should be careful not with their opinion but with them forum rules,Can not someone say bitcoin xt is an altcoin I would like to know if the majority adopted bitcoin xt what will happen to the forum probably the only bitcointalk visitors will be use this forum only for altcoin discussion..

The answer to your question was already linked in the reply above by unamis76, it is regarding reddit but it would apply to this forum as well:

Quote
/r/Bitcoin exists to serve Bitcoin. XT will, if/when its hardfork is activated, diverge from Bitcoin and create a separate network/currency. Therefore, it and services that support it should not be allowed on /r/Bitcoin. In the extremely unlikely event that the vast majority of the Bitcoin economy switches to XT and there is a strong perception that XT is the true Bitcoin, then the situation will flip and we should allow only submissions related to XT. In that case, the definition of "Bitcoin" will have changed. It doesn't make sense to support two incompatible networks/currencies -- there's only one Bitcoin, and /r/Bitcoin serves only Bitcoin.

So if the majority of people adopted bitcoin xt then that would "flip" the situation and would mean the "definition of 'Bitcoin' will have changed", which means the forum would then be talking about XT, which at that point in time would just be called Bitcoin.

The reason is theymos considers XT to departure from the original ideals of the Bitcoin project, thus being an altcoin. This has already been discussed. Here's a statement from theymos regarding the issue.
