There is a rumor that intel are building their own bitcoin miner and it's going to be a lot less cheap than other ASIC miners out there, is this for real?.

Demand on GPUs are decreasing for sure but still the price isn't going down as we hoped for, buying rtx2060 for 450-500$ is something I will never do because the ROI is way longer even if you are using free electricity, I hope GPU gets cheaper soon as intel own are coming soon too.

Agreed. Can't wait to see what they roll out!

I got a GPU buying order from China on rtx2060 do you think it's a good time to buy GPU? I'm expecting bear market in February but things are looking different this time around, history isn't repeating itself anymore.
If you bought this video card for $500, then a simple calculation shows that the payback is 431 days at $0.06 per kilowatt. This is a very bad indicator, if we assume the imminent end of Ethereum mining. Now I'm more negative about buying video cards for mining.

Ethereum mining will not end soon. As many other predicted - it will end mabye in 2024 or so. Vitalik must test his PoS system on Doge coin first  Cheesy
I hope you are as good a miner and investor as you are a prankster. Because now the purchases of video cards for mining are decreasing, as evidenced by the statistics of decreasing prices for video cards in stores. But if you are right, then I will not cry.

buying a 12gb rtx2060 at the same price as a normal rtx2060 may seem like a good deal but in my opinion soon the price / value of the gpu will drop drastically then i would not trust to buy an expensive thing from China

Don't do it if your aim is this present recovery because there will be dump in coming weeks, to become a miner you have to make up your mind and plan for long term mining because crypto condition can never be balanced, there will always be value loss and increase in value at a different time frame.

What if the recent price spike was just a bull-trap?  Just thinking out aloud,  Cheesy You can never really predict when the bear market is going to happen. The best way to do mining investment is to do what on member posted above if you are looking at long term. If you are looking for short term gains, it could be a big risk buying the GPUs at inflated prices, but that's the risk you have to think about. Can you take it if things went south?

We are already in March. If you can buy the Rtx 2060 the super version or the 12 GB version for the same price of the normal 2060 which should be under 500-600 USD max as an acceptable price for these cards.Maybe not the best time to buy but if you are in for the long run, even mining at a loss and thinking about the brighter future that there is (we all hope) for Bitcoin then it is always a good time to buy GPU-s if you have the money to do so.
