With BitFury now shipping, these are pretty much obsolete on release day.  BF is faster, cheaper, more power efficient.

You forget about the time variable.  Where can you get BF shipped TODAY?

It's the same speed1. It's the same price2. How exactly does this new board chang everything?

1. Actually it's lower, cuz it can't be overclocked.

2. Actually it's more expensive than the clearance of their old blades, so it's not really the same price.

You're taking it way too seriously. These new boards weren't meant to be faster, they were meant to be deployed and maintained better.

I'm excited for these boards when they're assembled with 55/65nm ASICs.

Thanks for the pics!

Annoying that the backplane doesn't obviate the need for ethernet connections to each blade in some way.
