The thing is he claimed that his art are made by hand and in my opinion, what i see from the pictures are things that have been made by a machine.

just read the thread in the scam accusation, they gave some points that it was through laser cutting not hands+ skill

wow ... that's a nice one scam.
So he was selling laser cut wood as hand made ? wowowow...

I once met an artist from St.Ives who was laser cutting every piece but then he would "rough them up" by hand, to make every piece *sort of* one of a kind. Not sure if that was a legit thing to do?
I bet most people do this

If you think that's bad, read about people selling literal piles of dirt for thousands claiming it has some deep meaning behind it, this stuff needs to be ousted for the crap it is but I think it should be done in a less aggressive way.

Yeah, he'd been ousted for trying to sell his goods handmade when they were apparently laser cut, people didn't have a problem with his art, it was accused he was false advertising so he could charge more. I did take a look at that video and the question now is why he wouldn't post that stuff up to begin with to be honest and I should probably take a better look at what people who have actually bought his stuff say.

Well, he seems to have lied a lot about his art. HE sold art works of 14K$ , when his way of making them was laser printing and costs were less than 100$ .
Its not even certain, that he was using the wood he said he would. Selling a 100$ piece for 14K$, does not make you a good artist.

I heard debate about him.. not gonna get into the flame war. Anyway, this should be in Meta? Should it?

Well there are a variety of topics on Woodcollector all over the place atm
I have the dildo he made available for sale in the auction thread for the heck of it

The main issue is the definition of what he made, aka did he prerender designs and what was meant by handmade works/ price that was offered being put at a premium because of said presumptions.
