Some of the most common reasons why people fall to scams are that the offer seems legit, the person offering it seems real, his/her information seems true. Don’t be fooled by things that seem true. Scammers always endeavor to appear legit, in many ways. They have public profiles on Linkedin and others that would convince anybody that they’re real. Don’t focus on them. As much as possible look for the red flags. Look for warnings. That would keep you safer. In your case, there’s a lot.

I don't know what it has to do with the fact that the girl uses her real photos and invests, she might get a commission for each person who registers through her link.
When you invest your money, the party that gives you advice is not important, whether that party is a close friend or a girl on the Internet, but is the platform good for depositing money or not?

I think it's more about considering every possible threats that's why we should factor in everything else as well.

For instance, if the person on the other end starts behaving like a typical romance scam artist, you would wanna cut ties with them so you don't waste anymore of your time. Because if crypto trading doesn't work, it's likely that they will just come up with another way to scam their victim e.g. "i wanna see you but i don't have the money for plane tickets", my father/mother/brother/sister/cat/dog/you name it... is very very sick sick right now and I'm having a hard hard time bc I have no money for hospital bills", etc...

If the platform is good but does not have enough trading volumes then you are not obligated to use them, there are many options available which will be much better than losing all your capital.

Hello folks,

This came from a dating app in USA where a girl claims to be doing very well trading crypto using a "P2P" platform with "time nodes" and she sent me this URL to download an app for my phone to trade USDT/BTC etc. using her "strategies". I am pretty sure it is a scam but the girl seems pretty normal otherwise and has pics with her family and friends that seem real.

site address is xhexs.vip/download and then it redirects to another site. When you install the app, you get a legit looking trading platform that asks you to verify identity using govt issued photo ID and then you can add funds to it for trading.
If your intent is totally on making out trades then it would really be just common sense on sticking on known or top or reputable trading platforms rather than on something that had been suggested by
a beautiful girl and making out some claims that she's doing pretty well with it because its a 100% scammer type of claims and the site redirect is totally a scam platform which
do only hooks you up on making out some deposit and on the time you do make deposit then there's no way you could get those funds so be careful.

Don't fall into the beautiful girl trap. We have seen many histories that how they are scamming people. Either they are scammers or hackers. Doesn't matter how they are looks legit, just don't install any unknown apps to your device. They would take control of your device and move your funds. Better visit adult sites from the device you aren't using for cryptocurrency. So it would be hard to scam you easily, just make sure you aren't sharing your credentials anyway.

I have no doubt it's a scam.
I have already seen a similar case with same a normal looking and behaving girl.
In this case that I saw, someone managed to earn a lot thanks to the advice of this girl.
When it came to the withdrawal of funds (several thousand dollars), they were asked to deposit the tax fees - about $1000.
Of course, all earnings are fake because the entire application is fake.
The scam is that if you paid that $1000, the girl would simply disappear and your money also.
Better stay away!

If a girl is claiming that she's very successful at crypto trading with her "strategies",this is a scam.
How many successful female crypto traders have you seen in your life?I haven't seen any so far.
Maybe some females are making big money with crypto trading, but they won't reveal their identities and they won't brag about making money and financial success in general(unless they are scammers).
This domain is suspicious af and this "girl" is probably a dude from a third world country, acting as a catfish and searching for victims on dating apps.

You are being catfished OP. I very much doubt those pictures are real unless they're dumb enough to reveal themselves. Look up romance scams and you'll find the same stories. You can try to drop their pictures in reverse image search engines (google, bing, tineye, yandex, etc.) but do note that if it doesn't return any results, it doesn't mean they are what they claim to be. It's just some scammers use photos which are wide spread all over the internet.

If any stranger starts talking about money, you should immediately run... almost everytime they don't end well. Take note that some of these scammers are a bit tricky. They would spend a good amount of time (weeks, months...) to make you warm up to them before they start talking about finances and stuff, and therefore to some people, it comes off as natural or less alarming at least.

Lastly, limit the personal information you give out to ppl you don't know well, particularly those that could reveal your financial situation cause scammers could use it to assess if you're worth the trouble.

Thank you! I was sure this has to be a scam but couldn't find that xhexs.vip URL anywhere in google search.

Literally zero reviews? That itself should be a very clear sign that it's 99.9% a scam. Tongue

Rule of thumb: if you're going to use exchanges(or whatever service that's going to handle your money), don't risk using the newer ones. Always stick to the reputable ones.

You can paste that url in google and it will show only the domain info without much info though.

This is common if the website is only new, which is probably made by that scammer/hacker for this purpose.

Just checked it on whois and just like that it was just registered this january.

That's a scam or malicious attempt. Avoid clicking links from these PMs.

That's a scam or malicious attempt. Avoid clicking links from these PMs.

Your hints of red flags:
- PM from social media website
- PM is related to a investment or trading, or any related to money opportunity.
- PM has a link shortener or any kind of link to download or for you to access it.
- Receives from a woman/girl

Plus, don't ever download from the site it could steal information from your device, much more uploading your IDs there.

Account's content doesn't matter as it only way for them to make the account looks not sus, but messaging such PMs is already sus. It could be a hacked account as well.
