If I can have it my way, I would have the mods remove every single one of those dumb speculation thread that devalues the entire forum community's average intelligence. If I were a serious investor visiting to find info only find bunch of teenage trolls posting 4 chan type threads, it will not help me build any confidence for a brand spanking new currency of all things.
Just like I was saying in the other thread, there's nothing wrong with commentating every little thing going on in the market, the main forum just isn't the place to do it. There are readily more applicable forums on this board to do it in. Go there.

I see too many of these threads. It just goes to show ignorant some people are. Either you believe that your post is going to help fuel the rally (and hence make your wallet more valuable, making you a quick buck). Or you genuinely think that we are reaching a new paradigm.
I understand the role speculators serve in a traditional market, where information takes a long, long time to reach every person in the market. BitCoin, is online. It is not a commodities market in the 1880s, and it is not asymmetrical to the degree that something like the NYSE is. How many people can honestly say they understand something as 101 as supply and demand? A lot of people think they do, but most really don't.
Anyway... I'm just saying these people are children. That is all.
