Have you ever played on some instrument like a guitar, piano or drums etc. ?
You will find covers recorder almost by every famous group around the world.
All of them are doing covers from time to time.
This isn't bad and worthless. Bad is to make bad cover.
Another great examples of amazing covers (better than original songs):

Marvelous this guy indeed have a nice talent and would like to see his own music with with his own style. BTW BOB MARLEY, JOHNNY CASH, QUEEN, FRANK SINATRA and BACK STREET BOYS styles were coolest amongst them. Thnx a ton for sharing it man.

I must say from those two songs - In The End / Dark Horse - I prefer "In The End" more than the other, but when he is singing "Dark Horse" in the "Type 'o' Negative" style - it is more than great song then - and "The Doors" sounds so good also
(All of the other styles sounds awesome too
