Yeah, you are right. Once Abraham Lincoln, the 16th president of the United States said, Democracy is a government of the people, by the people and for the people’. In the modern era, the democratic system is more effective than others. People have different opinion and ideology and only the democratic system can respect these variation nothing else. Though democracy forms because of majority but it always supports the minority as well as.

Yes? That’s quite literally the point of democracy.People vote for who they think can make their lives better depending on their principles, beliefs, and identity. Will a black person vote for a candidate that is racist and endanger himself by doing so? Will a gay person vote for someone who is publicly homophobic? Will a woman vote for someone who has expressed misogynistic views? Will a catholic person vote for someone who does not believe in God?
Democracy honors the vote of the majority so if the majority thinks that one candidate will be a better leader for them then so be it. It is what it is.

So wich is usually poor and rich so you fund both sides the political leader who do good for poor ones and the another who do good for rich ones.
Whoever got biggest votes win If country have more people who care about one thing then their votes will matter the most.
In USA what groups are biggest? so those votes will matter and only those votes are needed both by politicals and people who do lobbie and support goverment for their own benefits.
To do life good or bad it don't matter the votes will be winning the one who likes to biggest group of people.
