Thank you for all of you who have been willing to reveal a little of your success story in this thread. I hope you all have fun and leave all the bad things in 2019.

Your story will probably be a motivation for all those who want to progress and want to change their bad side for the better. I still have targets that have not been achieved and I want to achieve them by 2020. All of you have made me more motivated and apologize to you for not getting my merit because this is a decision I have to make after consideration. Maybe after you start actively discussing and not just focus on making bounty report. And now thread locked.

My account was made on april 2019 but on the end year december 2019 i only newbie and still newbie

My achievement in 2019 is very little and just ordinary people, such as :
1. Graduaded on senior high school
2. Received at a college with my favorite majors

And yeah Happy new year

2019 is my biggest achievement.
Rank Up Hero member has been reached because of my contribution in the 10th anniversary art contest.
I got 221 merit in the contest and won the special voting badge for 5 members with the best artwork.

After great achievements in 2019, I have increasingly improved the quality of my posts and try to benefit the forum.
2020 will be a year to be accepted new and better

 In the context of this forum I became an ever more towering figure of wisdom and authority that goes far beyond anything the world has ever seen before. And I breached the 1000 earned merit barrier which is the only stat worth paying attention to really.

As for anything else I can't remember but I'm sure it was fine.

This 2019 is somehow been a good year to me outside and inside this forum. I don't have any wonderful story like a sweet travel goals, acquired some expensive stuff, I don't have any of that to tell. But what was been wonderful and I am grateful of is that I've been a big help to my family especially to the shortcomings I had fulfilled. I may be still a student but still I got my own way of providing my family needs such as the medicines I myself bought from my own money for my mom who got sick last November, and thankfully she got broke free from it. And I was thankful because this forum was here for me to have such kind opportunity not everybody could ever have. I am beyond thankful, and I am looking forward to to contribute and provide some self - improvement to give back to the opportunities I get here.

This is my first full year on the forum(jan-dec), of course I joined in September of 2018, now I'm a full member this year and I look forward to what next year should bring for me, hopefully rank to snr member and on, but the rank up is not even the most important achievement this year, it's the self development and the person knowledge gained, if I was somewhere else other than this forum, I doubt I would acquire them the way I did here. I can't call myself a day trader, I'm still learning how to do that, so this year on the basis of trading, i increased my btc portfolio and I'm still hodling it.

This is just a so-so year in terms of trading profits. We all know that if you don't have experience in it, chances are you will not see any profits. Gambling wise, I won some, but still I don't consider it as a good source of money or crypto because of the huge risk involved.

But I'm sure majority of us remains positive and looking forward for a brighter future in 2020. And congrats to @BITCOIN4X for ranking up. It just shows that merit system is not a barrier to get you from newbie to Senior.

my story is almost the same as others because i am a late bloomer in this forum and just this year 2019 that i start to improve my self since i know how hard to earn merit from the beginning theymos implemented the new system in 2018 but one thing i will do,and this is to do my best to earn merit and to learn about blockchain and to adopt crypto in my daily living as long as the government allows me to do(from the best that i can)

This year is not too good and not bad for me because this year I experienced a situation of being stuck in life that made me think a lot and was influential in my passion for work. But there are some things that can revive me again and I get a few merits from the 10th bitcointalk contest which makes me even more excited to get up

Best story only for member can get many merit points, but for member not received points any one although have good quality topic post discussion always become darkness in bitcointalk.org forum, just have hope one day and at new year revolution begin for receiving many merit points and get change with higher level account other side we looks not close with moderator bitcointalk forum inside and out site.

My story is nothing to say. I just try to learning and contributing to the forum. I need knowledge, so it is the better please to grow my knowledge. I am always working hard to improve my self. I am a very little person in this forum so now i want to grow myself. So i need knowledge to grow myself.

Well surprisingly this is a very good year to me. I was able to rank up into Full Member because of the recent event bitcointalk celebrated. I am glad that I unleashed my artistic/ drafting skills in the 10th Anniversary Contest which helps me boost my confidence as a member of this community, those merits pushes me to become a good member of this community resulting to an eagerness of helping and giving back for the betterment of the forum.

I have had more surprises this year and have made some improvements, I hope next year can be more than this, for me and all of you

2019 is almost over, unfortunately I have not been able to reach my target this year and I really hope that in the next year I can reach my target and even surpass it.

2019 is a good year for me. My target and my expectations in 2019 have also been reached.
I used to wish to be able to rank up. And thanks God now I have ranked Full Member, and got many lessons from this forum.

2019 has given me a little story, maybe at first it wasnt so good but finally I found an inspiring story that I should have found earlier than you.
I have been referred to as a hero member who posted a lot of spam on the forum so that many of my posts were deleted some time ago, but because I read your threads and posts on several board especially local board so I began to realize that if the situation continues then I will never be a useful member like You.

You have opened my eyes and mind, so this time I will try to change for the better even though it seems difficult at first. Maybe I dont speak good English, but will try my best and can be understood by people when I write something. Thank you BITCOIN4X, you have inspired me and others (maybe).

Congratulations on your achievements, you will become the next hero member when you reach 500 merit and 480 minimal activities. Have a nice vacation and have fun, buddy.

2019 is a special year for me since this year I can improve everything. In the early year, I began to learn more everything about the forum and became active following discuss on my local board. It was really not easy, but luckily I have many friends that always motivate me even if I don't know who they are. With a hard struggle, I can rank up to Full Member on February. After that time, I didn't expect too much for the next rank since it requires a lot of Merits. But I still keep my dream for a Hero rank, gradually I collected more Merits. Finally, this month I am on the way for Hero rank. That's my short story in 2019.

2019 was nearly the same as 2018 , busting Scammers and Spammers and Fake Ann's .
At the beginning of the Year ranked up to Legendary
Helping new Users as far as possible.

So in the whole 2019 was good year for the Reporters and a bad year for Spammers and Scammers !

Hope 2020 will be coming good for Bitcoin .

I joined this forum only 25 days ago. And the reason for joining is to gain knowledge and to share my short knowledge with people. If I didn't join this forum I wouldn't know much about many things. This forum is very informative. I also tried to contribute something with my little knowledge. Hopefully, I can learn many new things in the future through this forum. And I am sure I will see you as a legendary member in 2020.

I have a short story, rank up from newbie to full member 

I was able to rank up to Hero status this year, I think it is quite an achievement on my part, although it take me sometime to realise and know how to be a help to this community. I frequented Beginners & Help and obviously try to give tips and warnings about potential scams/vulnerabilities that beginners might fall. It's a long way to go before I can reach the next stage, but I'm willing to wait and will make an effort to help even by exposing scams in the crypto-sphere.

I do not have a definite history in the Bitcointalk Forum, but while I am able to provide the best for others and the Forum why not.

You have principles and a good way to explain all the topics that you create, to be understood by all members here, about cryptocurrency, bitcoin, and wallet, this is one of your expertise in this forum, you really deserve the rank you get now.

Once again this is one thing and an unforgettable experience for you since the Merit system was implemented as well as mine, nothing is impossible in doing something good for others while there is a will and confidence.

I am really loving this forum every day, and i am trying to be active, but there is something that i am a little concern, there is this user that constantly harasses me and insult me, he told me we were friends, and then he said we were not friends anymore, he insult me and bully me.
Maybe is not the right place to post this, but i don't want to start a thread about it because maybe the bully user will post there.
Is like i cannot fully express myself because the bully user has an obsession with me and i know he is watching whatever i do.

What do you think i can do to overtake this situation? 

So your "biggest success" is earning more merit and joining sig campaigns?
I guess you are one of the many people,who use the forum mostly to make some money.
Success isn't always measured in money.

Honestly, I am not a self made Sr. Member because I was already promoted as a Sr. Member when the merit system was introduced. I do not consider myself as a lucky community member because it did not pushed my limit in self education about cryptocurrency and the forum, thus it makes me stupid spamming around the forum just to increase my post count and get paid.

As of now, I think I am making just a bit of progress and that feels good. There is still a long way to go before reaching the top and I should enjoy that process. For now, I am making friends with our local section and I think that it will be a good idea to start my journey in this community.

anything can be a success to anyone as long as they made it as one of their goals. in his case joining a signature campaign in one of them since he started as a newbie and ranked up to Sr. member.

My story?

Having lots of fun watching people promote a ponzi site en masse.

Realising that almost 70% of all the accounts active in my local board are just alts of other people.

Said ponzi site owner shooting themselves on the foot with the obvious promotion.

DT and Merit system change not really being on the mark.

Also since when is joining a signature campaign a "success story"?

It's always nice to see people sharing such achievements, it shows how many good members we have on Bitcointalk.
For me 2019 was nothing special. It wasn't bad year, but nothing unforgetable didn't happened this year. I received over 210 merits this year and it would be great to have similar numbers in 2020. I got lot of help from forum members when I asked and I'm very thankful all of them for it. I also hope that I also helped someone this year.

In 2020, I hope you can join campaigns of yahoo62278 and DarkStar_, buddy. They are top and trusted bounty managers as well.  

About my story in 2019, I just started my journey. Not many that I can tell to you, but you know I am starting to have a better habit. As for around 2 years, I was stuck in member rank because of bad habits and don't really care about my post's quality. Now, I realize I have a chance to move on to the next level. I hope in 2020 I can reach Full member rank.

We have now reached the end of 2019 and we will welcome the turn of the year in the next few days until 2020.
Many things we achieved in the forum in 2019 and it will be impressive when 2020 arrives. I think everyone has the right to express what has been achieved in 2019 in any form.

For me, success is something to be proud of and failure is delayed success. I just want to say that, throughout 2019 I have succeeded in changing myself and my bad habits such as:

• Improve the quality of posts from low quality posts to slightly higher quality and useful. See some of my posting history.
• Successfully earned 250+ merit
• Successful rank-up from newbie to senior member
• The opportunity to join several signature campaign with Top and trusted manager (Hhampuz, Coolcryptovator)
