I don't know...

When you daytrade you train your fast switch brain cells wich makes you think clearer. If properly applied, it can result in high volumes and strength in your pocket. It can result in crackdowns too, especially when you "overtrade" and don't give enough time for the fibonacci retracements to form.

Maybe one day saying you bought a bitcoin in 2011/2012 and held will be like saying you bought a Berkshire Class-A share in 1970 and held.

Still thinking too small. Smiley

No that's exactly fitting.
It will end, just like semiconductor manufacturing will have to be done in space bitcoin will have to be replaced. Technology is improving and in order for it to do that it has to be changing.

Rumor has it the first (historical) marathon runner died from dehydration after arrival.

...after covering 150 miles the two days before running said marathon.

One version of the events is (from Wikipedia):
Quote
Pheidippides as the messenger who ran from Athens to Sparta asking for help, and then ran back, a distance of over 240 kilometres (150 mi) each way.
THIS IS BITCOIN!

Quote
."Joy to you, we've won" he said, and there and then he died, breathing his last breath with the words "Joy to you".

Someone remember to bring this post back up when we find out if Bitcoin turns out to have the same fate as Phieddipedes or that of the Greek army's at Marathon  Cheesy

Vladimir made a great analogy of people trying to trade in and out of bitcoin in order to get more profits/bitcoins as sprinters in the bitcoin world, when in fact the REAL WINNERS are those that HOLD and are the BITCOIN MARATHON RUNNERS.

FINISH THE RACE GUYS! Grin
if you sell at the peak of a sprint and buy up when it's dropped you will end that marathon with a fat wallet.
