There is also this, but I couldn't get hold of it so far to test it. But the form factor sucks anyway in my opinion.

I have this and is the most practical and inexpensive.

have you been running any FPGAs with it?

I'm tempted to say that someone apparently didn't quite understand the actual problem and the ideal way to solve it here...

Don't be too tempted. Maybe it was designed for QC testing USB sticks... Cheesy

Your product is unneeded. Thread over.

it's not my product, I just found it while browsing and wanted to share, you can get 13 port hubs on ebay for 8 bucks.

I noticed that most of the large flat ones are usually just for charging devices or for copying USB drives.

That's the largest one I've seen that has full functionability.

Just for your info, here are the prices for this 49 port USB hub (prices US$). I contacted them a few months ago and was a bit shocked when I received their price list. I even had to ask if they are sure the currency is US$.

Quote
Costs for the DS-IP-49 -SYNC (without power supply) is:

Q 1-4: $1425.00
Q 5-10: $1375.00
Q 11-25: $1300.00
Q 26-50: $1200.00

Freight is additional.

So yes, go ahead and order one. I'll stick with my cheapo 10 port hubs for a few dolla ;-)
