ok I learnt technical analysis and using that I was making profits too, after some days I was busy with my exams and stopped trading for some days and now i see technical analysis is not working for me fully confused , if I start doing analysis I get a headache now
Then you have to look for other alternative strategy, it is not every time that technical Analysis do work, and I don’t think that you are the one with the problem, it is really difficult to get technical analysis  to predict anything at this moment that the market is a volatile one. Using technical alone is even not advisable; you still have to consider other analysis like fundamental analyses.

If you still  not getting it right, then I think that you have to just stay off trade for sometimes, and probably because you have been away from it, you need to stay back a bit and then try to learn more, maybe you have forgotten some few things you know about trading and its strategy. I believe that with time, it will come back to you, and then you can trade well once again.

You're stressed from the exams and all this thought about making money while studying.
Better get some rest or you will just lose more if you will not stop making wrong choices and decisions.

Crypto currencies will just be here, and it will be easier to come up with a plan if you ate relaxed.
You will find it more appealing to read all the pointers here and help if you are in a better state.

Charts change from hour to hour and some times even from minute to minute-- you shouldn't expect the charts you 'successfully' traded some days ago will help you make profits in an identical manner today.

The thing with people is that they make profit by luck, then assume that their technical analysis was spot on, but when luck runs out they suddenly think technical analysis is no longer working and therefore useless. It doesn't work like that.

This once again shows that most people not only aren't made for trading, but more importantly, don't look at their own mistakes but blame external elements for their own failure.

You don't understand the way to be successful in trading, that requires patience and you don't show that now.

It is expected that we have some losing moments in our journey in trading but with patience, we won't give up easily, making it work before is not just by luck, it's because you have knowledge, unfortunately to you, you might have stick to your old strategy when the market has no fix situation, what you need is to evaluate your strategy and adjust accordingly.

Technical analysis helps you before, therefore it can help you again.

It depends on you how can you get back on track again.

Go fully back in trading once you are ready to manage both studies and trading.

To keep i simple: if you had success in trading only based on technical analysis, then you were simply lucky.

I have done quite well trading in the more recent weeks, and that based on technical analysis. I messed up big time in the past by opening positions when the market was either too volatile due to panic selling or fomo buying, or just assumed that certain patterns with a ~70% probability to break out in a certain direction, would actually break out that way.

It's not technical analysis that should be blamed for that, but myself, and so should people claiming that technical analysis is hocus pocus blame themselves.

using technical analysis is good for looking out certain buy/sell signals
but sometimes you will see false signals, so it is best to use 2 or 3 TA indicators
even so, it doesn't always guarantee 100% accuracy Undecided that's the way trading is

Without explaining what kind of technical analysis you were doing when you were making the profits what should i understand from this, you might be making those profits when the market was rising and now the market is on a correction phase you might not be having those profits you once had, the fun part is that you could make any analysis when the market is increasing and you will end up with a profit Tongue.

As one member mentioned technical analysis is one of the factors that may affect the price in the natural situation, therefore, It’s a psychological impact on the nature of the market.
You can’t rely on these analyzes at 100% credibility. If you want to invest, it is one of the factors but does not represent the essence of change.
Try to track news with historical resistances that give you a more accurate view of technical analysis.

Technical analysis is not a key for us to become successful in trading whether in Forex or crypto.
TA can only give you guidelines or pattern to earn but not precisely it will be happen anyway.
So If I were you, you must base your actual trade for what is the fast moving in the graph and has a great
volume.

Well, especially trading in the crypto market, it will be very difficult to use technical analysis because the crypto market moves unpredictably especially when the whales arrive. Some traders are indeed wrong perceptions of the line, especially beginner traders, they consider a line that they make can accurately predict.

Whatever line or indicator is, no one has the right prediction. It all only helps us analyze and consider where we should open positions. And sure enough, I have a community where they have been trading for a long time in crypto, every day they share their technical analysis about a few coins but not a little of their analysis fails, so you already know the conclusion.

That's because you have not mastered the right way to do it.

As a trader, everyday is a learning experience, it doesn't matter if you stop for awhile, you will still experience the same even if you continue as the reality says losing is part of our journey, what we have to do is learn from our loses and continue to improve our strategy.

Maybe you are not too realistic enough, you think you already find the winning formula but you are wrong.

Not all the time, the technical analysis works. Also, you have to learn and use other technical analysis if you think your old indicators seems not to work now. Or maybe you have lose your confidence in trading and forgot all necessary ways on how to read those. Since you had a break from trading, you have to go back from the basics again.

Depends on what TA are you applying, but in a sense there is some truth on what you say. TA won't guarantee you in making profits, most of the time the market is really unpredictable and it's really hard to time it as well. If I'm in your shoes try to expound your TA learning and see what's the overall sentiments as well because we all know that crypto is based on speculation, just saying.

Without seeing your analysis (past and present), it's impossible to say what the problem is. But if doing TA gives you a headache, then trading probably isn't for you.

To keep i simple: if you had success in trading only based on technical analysis, then you were simply lucky.

I wouldn't say that. I've been trading successfully for the better part of a decade and my method is purely technical. I am not generally a lucky person either.

Most people don't understand that trading requires extreme rigor and diligence. Backtesting extensively, properly taking EV+ opportunities over and over, and grinding it out with proper risk management over the long term with a 30-50% loss rate......this is what makes a successful trader.

Beating the market is not luck, whales, manipulation, or any of the other rationales people use to justify their losses. Most people are simply bad at applying TA and trading and will never have what it takes.

We have hard days to find a good reasons to pursue what we've started great, since seeing the recent changes badly made us emotionally struggling. Furthermore, as we all knew crypto market unpredictability is an out most reason why the scenario kepts on happening.

Whose the one told you that technical analysis do work precisely or anytime? Neither technical or fundamentals it wont really give out sureness that ill work.

The first time you do make use of technical analysis which make you profit and believed that it did work but on next time it didn't? Get used to it and this proves out
on how unpredictable this market would be,.

I hope that your loses are not bigger than the past gains. You should start again with smaller steps (smaller amounts) and gain experience.

This. Your lines and triangles probably just worked well a number of times purely by chance. Technical analysis isn't there to help you predict price movements in the first place, and I'm 100% sure that even the pros in the TA community would agree. It's just there to potentially help you make educated trades with a controlled risk:reward ratio.
