no that's something totaly different ,logitech cube is a mouse with touchscreen. it has nothing to do with gestures.
the leap has cameras into it whitch analyse your finger and hand motion and interacts with the screening. u dont have to touch it

If you don't believe me, try holding up your hands in front of the monitor for a minute straight. You can move them around a bit if you like. I you feel awkward, just pretend you are conducting an orchestra. Now, after one minute, how do you feel?
