I don't think phishing can be curtailed by people because it has always been in existing since the launch of the internet and many people still fall victim for this kind of scam done by developers.

The best we can do now is to create awareness about phishing and how it works so that users can be more careful when visiting a website, this scam of phishing is becoming rampant every day and it's our responsibility to protect our community and the members especially newbies who just came into the space and are not familiar with this type of things.

In a way, it's great to see up to what point people try to make more transactions and submit their data towards an exchange or something (KYC Verification) and be told that either it was hacked or been sold by the one who collected those data, etc. I think the most significant thing to consider is to check if it's legitimate. Basing on the website that you included it can be seen that it's their goal. I'm not sure if it does work or needs more work. I want to see some actual application towards it, or maybe I have seen it.

I think one way to avoid getting Phished is knowing what to do and see how you can be Phished. This is some additional info.
