Yea, I defiantly agree with you there; I don't think science should over be manipulating our bodys. The ONLY exception in my mind is when somebody has a medical condition/issue and science is manipulating his/her body to make it more normal.

I'm not surprised at all if manipulation with the human body begins. But it goes beyond understanding when genetics try to program a human child even at the embryo stage to see a particular child, sex, hair and skin color, and much more. This not normal.

There are a lot of animals that has that kind of ability that they can regrow parts of their body. Maybe scientists can reverse engineer and see how they could make it work with humans, probably against other animals first, not directly to human subjects.

Maybe in some far far future that could be possible. If you alter human gene and mix it with frogs or what ever animal you want, i know i would not like to be that "human" . I think that in that moment, if we take under consideration that it is possible, will would stop being humans as we know, we would evolve in totally new specie. But back to reality, its not possible, because if it was humans would evolve to that point till now.

I don't think Society for Protection of Animals would care much about me being interested in a picture. I think they would care more about the thousands of frogs that this scientist has probably killed when experimenting on them.

Some animals can themselves regenerate torn limbs, but these are very simple organisms and they lack the immune system. The frog is a little more complicated, but compared to a man they are different. There were cases when young children could grow a lost finger, but I do not know how much this fact is true. Frogs are very different from Humans. It could work in humans but it may take another give or take 30 years. Growing limbs on lab may take 30 years to be perfected but growing the limps directly from amputated person is much much longer I guess.

Could they? Probably, at least after some more research. Should they? NO. I think science goes to far once they start messing with genes and altering your body parts like that. At least that’s my opinion.

It all depends on how the nerve endings grow there. The operations for sewing nerve endings are now very complex and have few lucky chances. If the limbs grow like nails, then the brain must control them without problems. But if they sew, that is the probability of non-appearance of a foreign body and the brain can not control them.

This is really a very complicated process and not even all the transplanted organs take root, but this adds some life to some people. So far, only in the movies can sew the limbs of other people or grow new ones. I believe that someday people will be able to grow limbs.

One question, if everything is done by our brains like when I touch something my body sends signals to my brain and I feel it and the same feeling I am experiencing is registering as electricity moving in my brain, so how do I really feel? shouldn't brain sends something to me? oh wait all I feel and do is happening in my brain but am I my brain?
