First, backup your wallet then update your Electrum to the latest version. Verify signature before engaging in any transaction. Or if by any chance you've installed 2 version of Electrum, use the latest version (given that it is verified) and delete the old version. If error still persists, restart pc then install a new Electrum (latest version 4.1.5).

To avoid issues with opening wallet files in older versions that may not support any modifications to the wallet file format, Electrum generates this error.

In your specific case, it seems that he wallet file was either created with version 4.1.3, 4.1.4 or 4.1.5 of Electrum this set the "version" of the wallet db to 41... or the wallet file was opened with one of these versions and the wallet file was upgraded to this version.

Now, it appears that you are attempting to open it in a version of Electrum from 4.0.2 to 4.0.7 (these all use version 32 in wallet db).

Either use version 4.1.3, 4.1.4 or 4.1.5 to open the file, or restore in the older version of Electrum using your seed backup.

Cannot load wallet (2):
WalletFileException('This version of Electrum is too old to open this wallet.\n(highest supported storage version: 32, version of this file: 41)')
-snip-
I haven't a clue what to do. Can someone help me?
If you do not want to or can't update your Electrum (since it's not too old, seed_version 32 by v4.0.2 ~ 4.0.7)
Restoring it from seed should do the trick, you'll lose your contacts and labels if you have those, though.

If you recently updated it to the latest version but still can't read your wallet then you might be using tails/Debian/Parot OS?
There is someone who recently have the same issue here on the forum even he upgrade it to the latest version the problem is the Linux distribution still using the old version of Electrum.

I would suggest you if you have the same OS and to get some ideas then read this old thread here https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/what-does-this-mean-and-how-do-i-solve-it-5366171

I've experienced something like this. When creating a wallet in the high version of Electrum and then opening it in the lower version of Electrum, a message like the following appears:

Just open the version when the wallet was created or open in a newer version of Electrum.

Also, this error only happens when you move your wallet to a computer with an older Electrum after creating it on one with a much newer Electrum version.

Or if you uninstall the newer Electrum and somehow happen to install an older version of it on your computer.

Update to the latest version. Do not click on any pop up for update to avoid hack, visit the two links posted above and make sure you verify its signature using the second link as guide.

As the error suggests, you should update Electrum. Download it from the official website and make sure to verify the installation file.
