I think dice is way over rated. Every site you go to you see dice and often as the main or only attraction. I wonder why they don't try mix it up making another game based on 50/50 odds.

Same scripts, same algorithms, different UI and designs, and only a few are trustworthy. Most of the time, people would go to the most popular and oldest dice site there is to play. The dice game is not overrated nor overused. It's just that the game is easy to play and easy to create that's why there's a ton of dice sites spawning almost every week.
Yeah many people are just copying the concept and changing only the deisgn. .you can make easily because many script sharing it here in our forum also i think in github which is the main source where we can get free script..
Only primedice the oldest one still remain.. and yeah its nor over use because many people new or old are playing dice..
For me dice game are overrated and overused in this community.
That makes so many dice sites popping up with clone concept just to earn money no matter how.
Yeaaa only primedice so far has different concept and trustworthy of course.

Clearly there are tonnes of dice sites out there today, but outside of the top 5 or so there aren't many bets in the "long tail" of them.  Takes a lot of promotion to make a successful site these days, not so dissimilar to the online casinos world really.

Will be interesting to see the next major innovation in rapid-play variable odds games of this sort.

One reason why there's so many dice sites is because many people are playing it because it's easy to get profit from it.
It irritates me that btc dice is over saturated now. I mean, there's already huge, successful dice gambling sites and people are still trying to compete with them with nearly the same feature or worse.
Also that's why they are many because many premade script shared in github so it is easy to install without hiring a programmer..
many people are not contented in one of dice site they are always looking for new sites.. that they are just want to try their luck..
Dice game is easy game unlike other games.. you can only choose roll or up or down(different version) and this game is the fast way to lose or to win..

Dice casino is overused and usually i find most of those dice isn't creative or innovative. Some of them are clone to other popular dice sites.
Dice is very fun and people will keep playing it forever, but i doubt that there will be new dice site that could be popular in future because dice casino already dominated by big casinos such as PD.
Dice game is very catchy. Almost every newbie in the world of gambling starts with this game only. This game will not lose popularity because there will always be newbies who want easier games to start with.

I have been away from the scene for about a year. It seems now, that there are literally 100s of dice sites in existence. Do you play on them outside of moneypot and the other mainstream sites. It seems a new site would struggle to gain traction.

i think they are overused.
and it is because creating a dice site is so much easier than creating a casino game like poker with all the designing.
in dice you just copy a known and most of the time free script and you are good to go.

p.s love your username Smiley

To get popular, a new dice site need to offer something different. Things like a new interesting UI, good affiliate system, attractive promotions / events etc are required. Exactly as you said, there are hundreds (if not more) of dice sites already and sadly most of them are made with a boring dice script and the owners don't want to spend any effort in it.

There are lots of dices sites, but some of them die on few weeks (normaly are copies with free dice script, with only a new background image) . The most old and trusted dice sites, and the ones that could afford big promotions and signature campaigns, are the ones that have more users playing.

It is overused but people keep playing it so they still keep making dice sites. Its probably popular because of its provavly fair engine and that its so simple anyone can play in under 5 minutes.

Definitely overused, every week a couple of new ones pop up and the worse part is that there is nothing new, same UI, same script with less trust and age. I play at the old/trusted ones but if a new one looks decent then I give it a shot with few pennies.

yes, many new Dice pop up with the same thing, nth changed and approved at all,
and as tsaroz said ''I lost the LO bet 21 times in a row. Dice is not cool.'',
thats always happened, you always win a penny, and lost a dollar or even more  Undecided

Folks only play at popular dice site, the new ones die pretty quick. i don't play on any new dice site.

it is true. New sites until they show they are serious in doing business, we can't trust them. So I only prefer to play on reputed sites like primedice and fortunejack sites for dice game. But I play very seldom this dice game because it works only based on luck so I just try my luck sometimes.

Situation changed a lot in one year with dice site's. Many appeared in that time, and I think that is a good thing. Competition is always making sites to offer better loyalty programs. Of course prizes and bonuses also needs to be good to attract new members.

Personally I don't play dices so much, from time to time I make couple throw's. And when I do usually I chase some higher payout, like x 11, x 23.. But I try to not play until I lose all, its more like after good win I stop playing.

Dice could be overused but overrated? Nah. The low house-edge makes it a good way to gamble.

If you're tired with dice you could of course try slots Cheesy

I got lucky with it... https://youtu.be/guZy7NAPh04

Dice is overused. I wouldn't say that it's overrated for there are reasons of why it's useful. It is easy to use, and simple. Its house edge (much like many other online gambling games) is usually low and you can choose a payout extremely easily.

Alot of sites only have fake popularity due to the signature campaigns they run as well. Someone comes in talkin shit about certain sites and the army of users in the campaign run to defend. Wonder how many of them actually play daily?
I'd go to the extent of saying that some sites actually have serious scam accusations, but they are ballooning the hype through massive signature spending. People should be wary about those and play only at transparent sites for their own sake.

As an owner i can agree that its very hard to gain traction in this industry.  Lots of users only looking for giveaways and seems like a few of the sites fake stats to increase popularity or try to.

Basically if a site goes hosts some good giveaways theyll see some players but keep an eye on the players and youll notice when the giveaways are done most players look for the next promo. Loyalty is rare in this industry.

It is like one of the easy and simple game to play. You also get to choose how many multiple you want. And with autobot, you can even adjust how you want to bet automatically. with feasibility in betting, it is no surprise that dice is so popular.

I was not a quite fan of dice but the martingale strategy of dice seemed promising. I had really good profit before loosing all my funds. Sad
I lost the LO bet 21 times in a row. Dice is not cool.
