GND might be using custom-built cables, or they may have found a supplier for them - I've not looked all that hard for NEMA 6 splitters as the only NEMA 6 outlets I have had in the last 4 places I've been in were ones on subpanels I wired up myself, with more than one outlet per circuit.

I am just thinking there has to be something. The guy from Great North data is using such splitters for his machinery.

The concept is good, those specific cables are BAD - they're only rated 15 amps due to the SUBSTANDARD wiring gauge they use.

I have yet to find a 6-20P "splitter cable" that uses the correct 12 gauge wiring to be able to use the FULL capacity of the outlet/circuit.

There are quite a few power distribution units that ARE rated for the full 20 amp capacity.

They will be around 220 volts. So shouldn’t be a problem? My only concern was that these cables are 14 guage and not 12 or 10 guage. Let me know your thoughts on that. Thanks

Hi Folks,

Most of my plugs or say all of them are set up on a 20 amp breaker with 2 receptacles on each for a total of 1.5 KW x 2 S9 antminers energy consumption. If I have some low power consumption machines say 800 watts. Do you think I can use the below splitter cable to split each plug in 2? Let me know your thoughts... Thanks.

are recptecles 240 volts or 120 volts?

yes to 240 volts

no to 120 volts.

I assume they are 240 volts but have to ask.
