Scammer

i paid $500 ether for the 1080ti shipped via his terms and conditions.
now he is refusing to ship claiming i need to pay more for shipping when his terms clearly stated he was paying for shipping

i took a gamble and got burnt.

here is his original post because he removed it

and he wants me to remove this, that is not happening until payment is remitted or item shipped per your conditions.

Shitty thing is he acted like his Forum name stood for something.

Garbage people everywhere.

In the future and for anyone else who reads this thread always Escrow or purchase in  a way where you are protected.

Always use escrow unless seller is very trusted in heavy green, never trust a new seller especially if the require paying upfront for anything.

If in doubt contact any established member including myself or anyone on the trusted escrow list: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recommended-bitcointalk-escrow-services-2439910

My method might seem off to some. Not me. I don't buy from from Newegg or Amazon or Evga and say " hey ummm why dont you send me the video cards and ill pay ya later" No you pay the merchant | they ship,  It's been like this for decades. Cheap? cheap is $1 i don't consider several 100$'s USD cheap. If you are unconformable with my thread,prices--> cya. As far as grammar I didn't realize I was writing an essay for my professor.  Roll Eyes

That is because companies like newegg or amazon are well known and trusted companies/vendors. You on the other hand are not well known or trusted. That is just such a bs analogy to help justify your stance on not accepting a middleman/escrow servicer for your sales.

I will take all your gear off you hands for the posted price.  Escrow through minerjones here on the site.  Check my trust bought and sold on this site for years no fuss.  I pay escrow, they confirm you ship me all your stuff you get paid.  Easy.  Let me know, and dont bother if you have issues with escrow im not sending first.  Thanks

90% sure this is a scam. Always do escrow or local pickup, it's worth the 1-2% fee for your safety, you make that back in 2 days of mining.

Pretty sure this is a scam but invite OP to prove me wrong by accepting escrow.
Gonna post some forum tips like the one below so ppl dont get burnt. Stay safe folks:

of course everything is in stock.  You aren't going to get any buyers without escrow or some kind of safety.  Stick to craigslist if you are so against escrow/paypal.

I wonder if that's all you do all day, troll people. It's actually kinda pathetic. I've taken the liberty of reporting you to a few moderators. I don't know many forums where this is tolerated.  Ok so you left me feedback based on what? You post to flaunt it in my face like a 5 year old? Hopefully you get dealt with by the forum moderators.

"Acquisitions"... LOL.  Don't use big words you don't understand.  You meant to say "accusations".

And I don't know, it seems that someone around here saw fit to give you a negative seller rating.  I wonder who that could be, heh heh heh.... Cool.  I don't think I can trust you.  You don't have the only 1070s in the world, I think I will buy mine elsewhere.

Unless its a local pickup, I dont believe anyone is going to take a risk with you. In your OP, you said you dont feel comfortable with someone holding your "money", however, it is still the buyer money until such product lands into the hands of the buyer, so even if an escrow holds it, its not your money until the buyer received what they bought. If you buy with a debit/credit, paypal, etc., and something happen (eg lost in transit, DoA, etc)., they (the buyer) have protection in the event you dont work in good faith with the buyer. With bitcoin, that isnt the case, since someone could send you bitcoins, it cannot be reversed and you could easily just run away without sending a thing (or sending some crap, who knows), which is where escrow comes into play. It protects both the buyer and seller, and allows someone to make a final decision in the event of a dispute. You could technically do a escrow with 2-of-2 (between buyer and seller, though not recommended unless buyer and/or seller is trustworthly) or 2-of-3 (between buyer, seller, and trusted third party) multisig if you dont want one person holding it. If you wish to sell here then use one, build a reputation, show that you can be trusted, then maybe you will be able to sell without an escrow in the future. There are plenty of people who sell here without an escrow. Why? They are trusted. They even leave an option for an escrow if the buyer wishes to have one, but only have the buyer pay the escrow fee (if applicable).

Good luck!

Are you ready for local pick up? just say where. There will be absolutely no up-front payment forget about it.

Bumping this thread, even forever won't help, understand and cope with the fact.

Millions of dollars have been dispatched properly by escrows here and you come with your few bucks worth of assets, accusing them of not being trust worthy? What's this? An excuse for doing whatever you wish with innocent buyers, including fraud? Or an act of paranoia(most optimistically)? Paranoid sellers have just one option: local pick up.

Unless You have a legitimate offer, please move forward, My terms at this point are non negotiable. So please stay on topic and make offers . Anything else will just result in a report to a moderator. I will maintain my composure and remain respectful. I ask everyone else do the same. Making acquisitions when you don't know me seems unfair |bias and harsh.

Plenty of other sales on here  I am sure.

Best of luck everyone.

Hmm, not accepting escrow, suspiciously cheap items, poor grammar and lame excuses abound?

There are some escrows on here that are undeniably trustworthy, MinerJones, OGNasty etc, these guys have escrowed deals worth hundreds of thousands of dollars, but you really suspect that they're going to run away with your $1,000?

You're nuts if you think anyone with half a brain is going to blindly send Bitcoin to a low post count noob like you.  Buyer protection is required.  I don't like paying paypal fees either but that is the only way I will even consider buying from you.

A warranty is rather useless if someone never receives the GPUs.

Where did you learn how to math?  Today's liberal Common Core math taught in schools?  3 1070s at 300 each = 900, plus 2 at 350 each = 700, for 1,600 total.  Where do you get $2000 from?

GPUs are now a buyers market.  I'll take all 5 of your 1070s, but you're out of your mind if you think I'm going to send Bitcoin with no buyer protection for me, in case you send me junk blown cards or nothing at all.  How do I know if they have been BIOS modded, overclocked, bricked, etc?  I'm taking a big risk even dealing with a low post count noob like you, much less the condition of the GPUs, and I demand buyer protections.

PayPal is the only way I'll deal on this, or with my MasterCard.  And my price is $1000 for all 5.  Shipping to a mid atlantic continental USA address.
