What board would you guys recommend me to use?
The thread has to be in Tokens (Altcoin) section but you already had an announcement thread there. I'm not sure if having two active threads is allowed there. Anyway, why don't you post the diary in the announcement thread? It would be good content for your daily bump.

i don't like making threads in alternate cryptocurrencies, especially if i want my thread to be useful or interesting to read for others. the main reason is that that board is mainly used for spamming by some members.

As long as it belongs to that section and you don't violate a forum rule then it should be fine.

This. And to add to that, It'd probably be a better idea to simply edit and just adding stuff on your main post instead of making a new reply daily. That way, it's more cleaner looking and less spammy.

Though the purpose of replying to the thread is to track the history - the purpose of having a diary.  It is like a timeline in which you can record your achievements, failures, learning, and mishaps.

Thank you all for your recommendations so far, I am starting to assemble a better idea on how to do the series.

We already have the series in Medium, but the main idea is to earn trust in this community. In times were scammers are the everyday thing, in all sides of the ICO and cryptocurrency, I Believe only transparency and communication can build such trust.

I hope by sunday we begin the Diaries Thread.

I don't think it would be considered going against the rule of its constructive and educative. There has been post that comes in series but there are mostly analysis but I would be interested in your post just that the board you are intending to post it is well renowned for spam and low quality post

Farewell, Leo. You will be missed!
I would suggest you do this. You create your opening post and then you make one or two additional posts writing 'Reserved for future updates'.
That way you will ensure that all your posts stay on top as you update your thread. Be assured that many members will post useless comments in your thread so reserving a couple of posts at the beginning for yourself is a good way to do it.

I think it is allowed but don't spam which is against the rule, and are you allowing the others to post on your thread or you are the only person to post there?

SMT are difficult to post without having getting replies of other users. Yet, you may be able to solve it by locking your thread and theb unlock it once you post yout diary about the project.

Anyway, whatever it will be OP hoping that you will achieve your goals as to promote the project.

This would be a better idea. Because if you post update daily and some other people also show interest/ add comment your next day story will not be visible anymore. Follow what mjglqw said and if you want more visibility, bump your post every 24 hours.

I am planning to begin a thread in the form of diaries series in the Alternate Cryptocurrencies board in order to tell the story of the development of the ICO (and post ICO) of our project, I have checked the rules and I don't believe is against them. But before I do that, I wanted to check if anyone knows if I am in the correct assumption.

It would be called The Filmgrid Diaries, and it would be updated in a new reply everyday with the events and efforts in order to achieve the success of the project.

Thanks!
