You can try something like this:
1. Use devtools F12 (in Chrome/IE and download addon Firebug in FF.)
2. Use the "select element tool" to select the table/tr/td element
3. Compare the style on both websites (perhaps there is already a previous table style in your second style -or- you didn't copy all css from the example site)
Also, I assume you have permission to copy it like that hehe :p
