Got a reply on my ticket:

thank you for contacting us. Our system administrators are working towards restoring normal operations as soon as possible. However, since this is a delicate operation, we are unable to give you an exact timeframe at the present time.

Bank transfers remain unaffected by the current events.

Should you require any assistance during this time, please feel free to contact us again.

I doubt it won't make any difference to say that I asked for a "rough" estimate and not "an exact timeframe".

Will it be days, weeks or a "temporary suspension" of Goxic magnitude?

I'm sure I'm not the only one frustrated here. I sent a FIAT deposit to Bitstamp on monday and minutes later I heard about bitcoin withdrawals slowly stopping. Useless bitcoins stuck at Bitstamp *SIGH*

I opened a support ticket with Bitstamp yesterday but still no word. The DDoS attack has subsided - they should at least announce that. As to their "simple solutions" I'd like to at least get an update on the timeline.

How far has the community come with finding a temporary clientside fix for tx malleability for Bitstamp and other exchanges? They could at least start processing some withdrawals semi-manually.

Come on Bitstamp! The spice must flow!

What do you guys think? Anyone heard anything from Bitstamp since the 11th?
