I run 2 g-blacks right now and they are loud, but are mining beasts. Good power consumption as well.

what software are they running on the controller?  Is it a RPi?

I bought them cheap without the Rpi in them. Simply plugged a USB cable into the hub inside each one and run them off of a windows box.

This is them with 2 blades as well:

Sometimes spikes over 72.

Thanks for the info.

Thanks! Has anyone replaced the fans on either of these, as it would be my first time modding a miner?

I have a Zeus Thunder X6 and it runs great. a lot of miners claim plug and play but with this one i truly had no issues plugging it in and getting it to run properly the first time.

I am torn between a Zeus Thunder x6 or a Gridseed G-Black. I would have to replace the Thunders fan's as I can only mine in thy living room at the moment. I cannot find a G-Black review anywhere, but I was hoping if a fellow miner can vouch for the noise in comparison to the Thunder?
