Exactly, but in my opinion, TikTok is a great way to spread awareness about anything. Regarding the cryptocurrencies, you're right. More and more young people are interested in trading or investing in crypto, and TikTok is on top right now, so I find it the best way to make them interested. There are people that have millions of followers and if they recommend something it's more likely that their fans will want to get that. I know many of them buy tiktok fans, but this only grows their audience and makes the product/service placement even more efficient. I've had my eye on Dogecoin for a while, but no serious steps so far. However, I think I need to take the plunge and try my luck.

Currently, Tiktok is ban in our country as it became known the app was stealing user data so the app has been ban for national security. Though I have heard the news and watched the viral video on youtube about the dogecoin. The people on tiktok claiming the coin will go to 1$+ soon. So there was a sudden spike on the dogecoin price but the value decreased again.

Asides the spy aspect of the app, China is said to ban a lot of app from America as well, so it looks more like an economic war but seriously why should every app, phone etc has to be a spy from China. They should respect the confidentiality of other countries, if they dont have ulterior motive for the gathering of those information why are they desperate to acquire them. we are still struggling with the virus they wake yet they are getting into other venture.

TikTok is like any other social media platform that gathers data of their users. IMHO, there's more to it and US don't want such app to gather the data of their citizens. As they say, it looks like a threat in data privacy of each US citizen as a TikTok user.

Any platforms can be used as a medium on cryptocurrencies promotion and everyone does have its own right to make use of it but this time its no surprise that it had been used to hype up dogecoin.
I just feel sorry to those people who get hyped and purchase dogecoin yet they make their hopes up due to that current claims on getting $1 which is totally an impossible thing to be attained by dogecoin.

This brings more harm than good. The majority of TikTok users have no clue about cryptos and will push everything that they get told to do. That leaves them vulnerable to becoming the victims of pump-and-dump schemes. Lets trigger some TikTokers to push a random shitcoin to the moon, old school hodlers of that coin can make a last profit and the newbies get left behind with worthless crapcoins. What happens in communities next? Usually the big complaining starts, putting Bitcoin and co in a bad light, damaging the reputation.
No different from all other hype sources then I'd say? I mean, what happens if you go google Bitcoin now? You go to Bitcoin.com or some other media outlet and then you get shilled all kinds of projects.
OR get asked to buy from exchanges.

Too many countries banning TikTok has made the app itself a joke, where the reasons given by most of the people included, but not limited to the fact that this software fetches your personal data and transfers it to the company which is against the privacy policy. Another thing is that, all I've seen over TikTok is shit and nothing (I'm never a fan of this but my wife used to make me watch all that shit :/ ).
So, when you've got nothing so interesting to watch in those 25 sec vids rather than just few people lip-syncing a song and some shit comments, it's better to utilize your time watching something else that's worth your time.
This app is solely used by those who are skilled in entertaining others, it is not design for promotion but many uses it now it such way, that makes it irritating sometimes since it will appear sometimes even you don't want to see it. Now, if crypto been also use here, there will only be few if they will attract someone since it seems not a serious platform to relate with users money. I don't actually use the TikTok app or platform nor know much about it but what I can deduce from the whole thing is that, TikoTok helped to promote Dogecoin to its users and as such the users likely decided to know more about the coin which lead to its increase in price. Also, I think this promoting of Dogecoin might not be for long when taking into account that most countries are yet to adopt crypto. But nevertheless, am glad about the whole thing even though I didn't participate because crypto has yet again been promoted which will likely leave a burning desire in the minds of people thus making them to know more most especially when knowing they are young people and young people tends to be inquisitive.

Tiktok is mostly used for entertainment but who knows, managers already tried using some social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Some bounties even includes LinkedIn which is a platform to look for jobs and Reddit which is the so called frontpage of the Internet. If TikTok can reach more audience then it is possible for it to be used and that would be useful for campaigns.

I don't know if you guys heard that TikTok apps is allegedly being used as a camouflaged by Chinese government as a spy tool or apps, and even USA and India have banned it already, so just be careful if you are going to used this.
As far as using it as a promotional tool, of course everyone can do it. But then again it will be used for all the wrong reason and you might find this as no different from one of the most hated and fraudulent practice, a pump and dump trading signal group.

I can say, I agree with you here. I have the impression that most tiktok users don't know about crypto.
And when they heard it, they just go with the hype without checking the facts about doge.
Because if they did a lil bit of research, what they are aiming for doge is very hard to achieve.
Though doge is commonly used for transfer purposes owed to low tx fee, still the $1 value is not an easy feat.

Tiktok is an entertainment app luckily Doge coin was trending for someday but this doesn't mean the coin started growing rapidly and yes it gave attention to most of the user's about doge coin.

They'll eventually look for another coin to pump where they can deceive the people again. It was bit smart actually considering how tiktok have been grabbing attention recently. New platform, lot of new users so whoever did it he is smart. He took the perfect chance to grab attention of newbies in this cryptocurrency and it paid off well. even though that might be true but the challanges like that will only temporarily increase the price, tiktok users are mainly young people and maybe highschooler at that, they are just doing the challanges for fun and then cash their money out when the fun is gone which means massive dump after massive pump. You just should never expect something from tiktok, this platform only good to advertise things other than financial related matter.
