they do really need more innovation, almost every of their project always tap-tap related that it's getting boring at some point, add that with some devs who demand "donation" as if their community are some charitable entity.

in my opinion, TON should also try to reach and make ecosystem outside of this telegram focused ecosystem, like basically trying to compete against SOL, offering defi that don't need to interact with telegram at all, I know there are some already, but TON right now is pretty much still getting too focused on serving their telegram users, most of the app also only compatible with their telegram app.

if they do that, I'm sure they can open up to bigger audiences.

Yes, that's right, it has to be more innovative, not just relying on mini app games on the telegram channel and that's boring, it has to be more varied, the games are boring and time consuming and the most annoying thing is that there are tasks that require very burdensome transactions because we have to sacrifice a number of TON coins and the results obtained are not comparable to the sacrifice because of the large number of participants who take part in the program

Last year, the TON ecosystem gained recognition as a fully L1 decentralized blockchain for web3 users due to its easy onboarding process and zero fees. However, it has become saturated with below-par "tap-to-earn" projects that likely won’t last the next two years.

I made a post on X some time ago about the types of projects on TON and emphasized the need for more innovative projects to build on the platform—rather than just "tap-to-earn" ventures—if the blockchain is to gain recognition comparable to SUI and Aptos. This year seems promising for that shift, with projects like Duckchain leading the way. it's the first Telegram consumer layer with AI integration, has raised $5 million with backing from the likes of DAO5, Gate, and others.

Personally, I believe these are the kinds of projects that should build on TON to help the ecosystem thrive and compete. What do you think?
