I'll be honest, it didn't take me long to look through your 9 posts. Bit confused why you're after merit at such an early stage, especially when one of those posts contained the following statement.

Had a look through the first few pages of your posts, but most are just one liners, and whilst I have merited one liners before, it would only be if they answered a specific question I had asked. Not saying they're not decent posts, just not for me.

I'm still looking forward to what would be the purpose of having merit but I already know that it is needed to rank up, I'm still reviewing rules and regulations and I would be watching this thread for future purpose of needing merits.

I prepared an article for beginners. but the value was not worthy. I think interesting and creative writings must be written to be merit-owner. I hope you find those people and give them.

We need to promote giving merit out. I mean, not too much people doing/knowing that its important to raise quality of forum.

Keep on doing that. I rarely have time to go through people's posts to decide if they are worth it, I usually give merit to posters that I find entertaining or posts that I find informative, so it's great that you can spare the time to do it. Here, forward some of my merit  
P.S. the amount of merit being awarded is very low IMO. You very rarely see merited posts in threads. It's not like I'm doing a good job here, I'm at fault too, but at least I'm acknowledging that we all should be more active with our merits.

I will keep the thread open anyway and drop back to check for any new posts. Just a reminder, I am specifically looking for 'Member' posts. Newbies and Junior Members only need to get a few merits to rank up to Member, this is to help my fellow Members to make the bigger jump up. There's a couple that posted who may be in with a shout soon, as I see they're already close to moving up to Member. Also, I can only read posts in English, unfortunately posts in another language will not read the same if I just use google translate.

Obviously your criteria for giving out merit is yours and yours alone. What I really like about your plan is that you're targeting Members only (or maybe even newer/lower ranks than that?!). It is tough for many to g their posts considered for merit, and a lot of that is due to the fact that people have to play the game of chasing the biggest merit givers to have the best chance at earning some merit.

Hi. I'm a long-term member (almost 6 years at forums and more that 7 with crypto), mostly a reader and a behind-the-scene contributor in to the crypto community. Now I'm working on creating a recognizable profile here to support the forum and to come back to the public discussion about changes we are bringing to life. My general domain of expertise lays between STEM and Economics, yet I also put a lot of time in social studies to better understand the principles behind the modern society, the changes to be made and the ways to predict and to control  the outcome of such changes. I usually do not waste time or effort for meaningless posts, so the total count is not high and won't grow rapidly, yet I hope to reach the necessary number for a Member status in the near future. I will absolutely appreciate some Merit points, since they are not easy to get. And I will pay them forward whenever there will be a good opportunity.

I've managed to reach a nice round number of sMerits to give away, so thought I'd try and help some of my fellow members bump up to the next rank. 10 Merits on offer, so going to give away a maximum of 2 Merit per post I find interesting.
