XLC is taken by L E G I T C O I N

I am going to assume that is an alt coin of some sort. Anyway you guys do not have an ISO 4217 code, I checked what was taken and what was not.

Edit: I see it is an alt-coin you started yesterday, lol.

XLT seems to be the more popular option on the Litecoin Forum.

It is time to standardize the ISO 4217 code for LTC.    Vote for XLT or XLC.    (It seems we do not have enough posts to make a poll. Mods, please set one up for us, thanks)

As you can see here http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_4217#Without_currency_code  BTC is using the XBT mostly because the more natural XBC had been used in the past. Now we can either follow the path of BTC and use XLT (it fits well thanks to the T in lite) or we can go with XLC the more natural fit.

Google search pulls up about 25 million results for XLT and only 5 million for XLC.

Honestly either one is fine with us but we need to pick on as it will start showing up in some of our work.

Please let us know your thoughts.

Thanks.
