No be lie, time no dey wait for anybody o, if u dey sit one place dey wait for ur time, u go just dey wait dey go, and na so u go dey suffer, so e better mk person go find wetin e go dey do to sustain e living than to dey sit down dey fold dey talk say e time go come, wen e be say e dey see as the country be now, the way the country be now, joy no dey so if person no dey struggle to survive u no fit make am, now no longer a patient dog eat the fattest bone o, now na as u work na so u eat, even if na small, nobody won dey patient o, everybody won find way to make, so no more i dey wait, wen my time come, I go blow, hunger go and suffer go finish the person, anything wey person need to do, whether na to build house o, marry o, get children, anything at all, do am wen time still dey, because procrastinating dey kill.

Na the same thing wey we dey always take say procrastination na the big enemy of success. As soon as you start to talk say you do am later na so you begin to dey fail without your notice. Na true say time no dey wait for anybody, anything wey you no fit do now e go hard you to do am even if the time come just as you been dey anticipate am.

It's very important to do things in time because e go help you to dey ahead of people as soon as you begin to do things ahead of time you go begin dey ready for everything whether, e dey necessary to do am or not you go stand out of the crowd because of how prepared you are.

One thing I learnt be say make I no dey depend on nobody whether na my family or not I believe say nobody go hold my hand to climb, I gats climbed before them go look me to push me even if I climb dem no push me I go still continue on my own. Na the biggest motivation be that, one thing wey I see for successful people be say dem no dey fear to loss anything whether na their friends or not dem no care na so E supposed dey. You gats dey courageous to do anything you want, as long as you get the strength, highest you start early you achieve am.

So the total thing be same make we try dey do things as fast as possible make time no mess us up.

The average class people go think say e easy to blow come get money, leave the exotic cars we de see and their luxury lifestyle, e no easy to reach the top. Time waits for no man despite your status. Every successful person today worked according to time and we should be mindful of the company we rolled with. Richman no go hide from you, instead them go whine you because OT full their mouth. The rich are favorable because they're in for promising projects and they will bring on their best when it comes to these projects.

I think you were trying to say birds of the same feathers flock together. Yeah, when it comes to seriousness not everyone know how to be. They feel the more diversified work you do and various business is enough seriousness to make a person successful. Someone can focus on just one thing amd still become successful. Why, this is because he understand the need for that business/skill in the society or environment he lives in. So he strategies by finding a way to bring those clients and customers to his.side.

My believe is that it is not how big you start something that makes you successful but the steps you had mapped out for it to make it successful is what matters. We may have invested big money or little into it, if it is not properly taken care of it may fail.

No be lie time really waits for nobody but I wonder why people wait for time them go dey progasnate na when so so time reach I go do that business when the time is rhere for you to start now.
Some kind people na when money enter there hand them dey know say them go sleep for hotel carry women go clubbing forgetting say e get watin them call investment na when the money finish them go dey talk say if to say I know I for don open one business or even buy land self since that one na asset or even buy Keke na pep put for road but meanwhile that time don pass you come dey wait for another opportunity again.
So we really need to maximize every opportunity that comes to us if you can't be able to make good use of it that time it will hard again for you, is now or never.

Wattin some of those people rich na because of their hard work and them no go like make you just come dey beg as if na their hand naim your parent born you put, but when you sef show sign of seriousness for life e go still make others give you that respect wey you deserve. Though some rich persons just wicked normally, na why them say a giver is different from a rich man. One thing I like about my life naim be say I no like make person come dey see me as liability, but rather make a be valuable asset for your life. Na why even outside this forum I dey do all it takes to make sure say I make am for life.

In addition, those who always find reasons to defend themselves for any failure or whatever reason that they are not succeeding. In life we should never wait for a Golden opportunities rather we should try to create those golden opportunity we have been waiting for long, when we create business for ourselves it makes us stand firm and stronger without the need to wait for government or any relatives that promised us whatever Job or business opportunities.
What i noticed is that as humans we are we should always strive our Best to push further and harder with time we could get helped by people whom we never expect for any day and may moments.

The moment you become a graduate in your family, people will be expecting this kind of good news from you,  I have gotten a new job and am  planning for marriage, which are some of the things you will see around those who are not lazy in the society.

But those that lazy, will never take anything serious because they always feel there is still time, and they will continue living with their parents after they have graduated for long, and they will be telling others people that there is no work or job in the country, not knowing that such people have never submitted their CV to any company.

 If you are a lazy person, it will be hard for you to succeed in life because nobody want to employ a lazy person in their company because they will limit the company weekly or monthly profit.

It's not arguable that time wait for no body, but in the course of utilizing time one must pursue it right or else one will end up not achieving the purpose of the saying time wait nobody. If you failed to follow who knows road in course of pursuing time or you failed to do things right that can't saying instead end up loosing wasting effort.

Time don't wait for no body may be true but in my view it's no longer time that wait for no body but human being has no time because they run out of time time remain constant as long as day and night continuous but human being keep changing in age I they move to a level they can't do certain things but time will still do it work in every given conditions.

Omo very important topic nah e dy be this oh.we need to avoid the spirit of procrastination and take the bold step in doing things and not waiting for others or putting blames on or Hess saying he didn’t help out this way or that. You have to man up to fear not fail in this life or not to be talk about for doing something not correct in the society. Everyman stand to be correct in a good manner.

Failure and disappointment isn't the end of life if you are ready to learn from your failure. A failure has happened to teach you a learn and one can only rise from being a failure if only you believe in yourself. Everyone has in one way or the other be a failure in life but the way we response to failure determine our chances of being successful in such path again.

If we no blame them or even ourselves ( for our own failures), who we go con blame, the companies with standards for workers or the skills for deceiving you and not letting you know on time that money would be needed to practice such skills. 

Firstly, for raising of funds, there are millions of ways out there one can acquire funds in order to set up a business. I mean how did other business people do it, do you think they were rich from the start and just all wanted to invest their money? Some collected loans, some saved,  some borrowed from friends and family at cheaper interest rates, some from venture capitalists and many more. So there's no excuse, you don't have money, you must not have money from the start.

There are even skills that allows one to fund the product or service with customers money. Take catering and tailoring for example ( that's apart from having your utensils and tailoring machine) even if you don't have the equipment,  you can borrow from a friend, loan from someone, etc.

Now secondly, industrial skills. If getting five years experience is what they want, there are many other companies out there that are also looking for worker. They're not the first nor the last company in the world. And if you really want to be in the organization cause of one thing or the other... Then get the 5 years experience.  Alot of people even at old age have stories of them going back to schools, ICAN and ANAN lectures, uni, PHD lectures just to acquire knowledge and certificates for one thing or the other and they did not die.  You're still young and you can do better. Getting a work experience even means that you'll be earning salaries while trying to achieve the five years experience.

And then, I don't think anyone should be shy of showing off a skill they paid money and sweat to learn. I mean, reading what OP wrote, what came to my head was people with poor communication skills or good communication skills/ marketing skills and then stage freight. Then there's people who can dance and sing, but miss opportunities cause of the same stage freight and fear of criticism.

In conclusion,  don't give yourself any excuse. "Whatever does not kill you, would only make you stronger" . Don't let fear end you. Time waits for no man, so pick yourself up everytime you fail, and continue doing what you're doing, every day. 

We all know that time and river currents never wait for anyone, they always take their own course. When we go for a job we too have confidence within, that I will succeed in working here, but if there is no confidence from within then it is never possible too succeed. We always pray too God that we will do good for the family and dream to become a rich person, always work hard to make that dream come true. If one does not work, surely a person will be poor. Without faith, work is not possible. People who are lazy can never move forward in the future, but their backs sit and their mind-set towards work becomes different. It is true about rich people that dem no dey, they are always full of laziness. When a healthy normal person goes to work hard to earn money he will never go to Dem, those people for begging. So earning on your own feet without wasting time and not depending on other people will be best and most important for future.

Both gender d engage on am. No think sae, I be fine gal or fine boi, hustle no fit me to do am. If you get that reasoning for mind, hunger go finish you.

As for the men, na for your early stage of life wey you suppose to hustle pass for the future cos men d get responsibility pass for family. No go do fine boi or been lazy at your youthful age. By the time you go grow old, you go the regrets the steps wey you no take at the early stage of your life or you begin to d find whom to blame why you no make em for life.

Time wait for no one, use am judiciously, if you no use your time now, later your time go use you. Make you shine your eyes well, make money when you get the strength, when you have a youthful energy, no be when you are old, not too strong enough to hustle. But if you think you still get time and you are still young to hustle, no forget sae peso go fit be millionaire at a young age. If someone can be a millionaire at young age, you too can be a millionaire at young age as well. Na hustle d take peso there no be laziness or midnight prayer of casting and bidding. Na wetin you put into yourself na the result you go get.

In as much as this your opinion make sense but e get some part wey no too go well make I address am with my own idea. First of all to get skills is the most important thing we dey talk about here, e dey very important say make everybody try get skills weda na industrial or culinary or technical, get skill first, no dey wait till millions come before you come say you want go get skill.

After you don get skills, if money no dey to fund am, enter street find small hustle dey do den from dia you fit see small small money dey save up as person wey get dream to build up him skill, no go dey wait for house dey say money no dey to fund your skill, because no body sef go wan give out millions just like dat say make you use am go start up your own business except dem know say dem go benefit from that your business and dem go always wan collect the big share. So help your self start small even if na business wey require millions to start, yo first hustle out dia for street gather small thing then from dia you fit ask for help, dat way e go dey easier for pipo to help you. Another way to use raise funds na to go find grants, agencies dey wey dey give grant if them see say you get the skill and you qualify very well dem go give u, dem no need 200yrs of experience just show dem sample of wetin you fit do den dem go fit help you with start up capital. Investors na another option, e get pipol wey get money wey you fit know, tell dem your idea if dem dey interested u start den after a certain period of time you go gain independence, this na d few I fit share now but plenty opportunity dey so if you get skills my people you no get excuse why you no dey work dey make money.

Truly time waits for nobody, life is like a journey and it doesn't matter how long we live but what matters is how well we are able to live our lives, so the early we start or begin to focus on how we can make our future conducive for us the better, we no the situation in the country right now is very difficult but that doesn't mean we will also dance to there tune, perhaps there are some good quality skills that could help someone attending to there daily needs while waiting for the right one to come.

You are very correct, just like me I studied surveying and most of the instruments used for survey jobs are very costly like theodolite, total station, Gps and lots more so it requires huge amount of money before you can buy this equipments so the best thing is just that people should be involved in lots of skill so that if your major skill doesn't assist you, others skills can help you at least to a direction that can make you get money to purchase instruments that would be requid to start developing your skills or set up your workshop.

This is what actually affected most of my friends and brothers when I say lemme help them by bringing them up to follow the industry many of them said they are busy while some said they can't leave their family to learn this things we are doing here, naturally to belong here you need to be dedicated and devoted irrespective of all you do outside.

The truth is always bitter since I joined here my thinking changes and my way of reasoning changes as well because almost all my daily talking belong here, my social media chats is here I don't waste my precious time on facebook, twitter just to discuss with people that won't add any value to your life's. The best is take a bold step and start whatever skills you think would help you tomorrow as I know too well that what will keep you ontop is skills and not certificates, there are thousands of graduate out there today that are out there that is not making used of their certificate rather is their skills.

Our brothers are so much fools of their selves especially, those people who happens to have oil companies in their State and communities, after graduation they solely rely to work on oil companies while a small boy of 20 years go learning a skill to become a programmer could just be at home earning six zeros why they still wait for those their so called oil companies to get them employed. Well lemme just cut whole story, we need not to wait till we see results from people by then it could be too late for you to start by then you would feels such people are hiding something from you without knowing is the time they invested to know what they knew.

OP I want make this proverb wey you give now sink inside the brain of our younger brothers and sisters o. Because the way wey boys dey para now dey scary. Some, I wonder who dey give them that prophecy say dem go rich for their young age, wey come dey influence them to go join bad things to make money. I dey tell plenty of my younger ones say, inasmuch as them get live, them still get plenty home. likewise, inasmuch as them get plenty hope, success go sure reach their doorstep. Thank you I like your comment wether na self employment skills or industrial skill, it must no necessarily be a skill wey you go get millions before you start. Make we take for example say you learn barbing or electrical work or fashion and designing, no necessarily mean say you must open a shop wey go take you like #1m before you start you go need to go find were you go attach yourself sothat the little small small money wey you ft dey save you fit use am start small shop. From there you start to get customer from there people don dey sabi you. Gradualy your shop don dey full rather Dan expecting money from people before you start.

Then as for the industrial work I no say to get the work day hard. especially when you get big skill. But if you get luck see one, try invest because company work no be your papa work. No be say you go just dey move from company to company dey say I be welder I be fitter or I be crane operator were you know say those company work no dey last

Human being will always find a reason for excuses.in my local government there is a skill aquisition program/training after completion Dem go give them equipment to Star there own business, guest what? Dem sell the equipment cary d money do wetting Dem like. And the purpose of the skill became void.
Example of skills and equipment given:
Fashion and designing===sewing/embroiding machine and some other items were given to them
Interior decorations and catering°=== dip freezer, blender, baking utensils,plastic chairs/table gas cylinder and four mouth electric cooker plus pay off.
Welding and fabrication==welding/grinding machine, welding tounge, bench vice and all plus pay off.
And many other skill unmentioned. What did dey do dey sold them and are still looking for another opportunity.

OP I like the topic but I think I will disagree with you on this, when you said the skill but lack courage to work on it, if I may ask what kind of skills are you referring to?, is it self employ skills or industrial skills? If is self employ skills how can you put your skill to work when you are financially unstable because there are people whom the kind of skills they acquire can take up to a millions plus to set up the workshop so how do you expect someone who could barely have three square meal a day to get up to a million naira plus to start up a workshop and also when we talk about industrial skills we are Reffering to the skills that can only be put to work or practice in an industrial or construction company and we no how difficult it is on getting a job from oil companies and even if there is job advert that includes your skill they will  need five years of working experience so how could someone applied when they don't have such years of experience, so there are people who has different skills but we're not giving the opportunity to showcase there talent so can we blame such person for not trying?.
