Nah, it's been stuck on 136 since I installed it and forcing a refresh doesn't make it change.

Oddly enough, the MtGox ticker which I previously had the same problem with now updates fine, so I'm not sure what's blocking the Tiny Ticker from working.

It's not updating for me.  I'm guessing it's incompatible with one of my other extensions (Adblock maybe).

Mt.Gox public APIs data is usually delayed in 2-4 minutes or so, not much I can't do there unfortunately. Is that what you are observing? If not, then yeah, maybe there's something else blocking it.

Installed and testing now.  I've had problems with other tickers not updating properly unless I disable and re-enable them, so I'll let you know how it goes.

It's been sitting on 136 since I installed it, will let you know if that changes.

What:
Three Five Chrome extensions, for BTC, LTC, PPC, TRC and NMC with the following features:

  • Shows current exchange rate on its icon, updates every minute, click forces update.
  • Supports BTC, USD and EUR exchange rates
  • Alert notifications, can notify you of price changes with a customizable threshold. Instead of specifying a "max" and "min" you want to be alerted about, which is a pain to maintain because with the current price volatility you have to change it every day, or setting up several rules, which, well, ain't nobody got time for that, these extensions take one single threshold. If the price goes up or down this value, you'll get a notification, i.e., if you set it to 10 USD and the current BTC price is 135 USD, you'd get notified if the price goes below 125, below 115, or above 145, 155, etc. This works pretty well for a fire and forget system and can be customized to your liking: a lower threshold will show notifications more frequently, and a higher one will reduce the volume. I'm obviously biased, but I've been testing it for a couple days and I really love what I came up with, see if it works for you aswell.
  • Alerts work even if you hide the extensions, which is perfect if you don't want to be constantly reminded of the price but still be alerted when there's a major price change (this is how I currently use them: you can right click the icon, select "Hide button" and the extension will be hidden but remain active)
  • Alerts have memory: go offline or hibernate, and as long as you leave Chrome open when you come back you'll be notified about the difference since the extension last checked prices.
  • Doesn't require signup and doesn't ask you for your email address or any other data for that matter unlike other web services dedicated to alerts.
