For anyone who's undervolting it's AMD cards, the following might be recognizable: opening AMD's Radeon Settings and restore the voltage settings for every card after a crash.
To prevent this, you can create a profile in Radeon Settings application.

First of all, always put the latest version of your miner in a directory /latest and replace the binaries in that dir if a new version is released.

Then follow these steps:

  • Open Radeon Settings and go to Gaming tab
  • In the top right corner click on Add, then Browse
  • Select the executable in your /latest dir
  • In the WattMan tabs configure your preferred settings
  • Add a script to your startup folder so the miner will be started automatically

To prevent an infinite loop when absolute wrong settings are configured, add a timeout 60 at the bat script which gives you time to intervene.

Have fun.
