For partnerships or collaborations you can try to look at Project Development.

With your product, if you wanted to be seen that as an asset then it should be something worth it. Take the consideration and idea of those exchange tokens. Giving shares from the revenue of the service they operate which forces their investors to hold and buy more to get more shares of revenue.

Not sure if this is the best place to post this, but we don't have a `Altcoin > Project development` area.  Undecided
yes, because this is related to the development of coins or projects, and in this thread only specifically to discuss the altcoin market and some of the latest news including hard fork.

Howdy,

I've been working professionally on industrial blockchains for a while, have a ok* understanding of how cryptocurrencies work, created a few simple blockchain tutorials etc.

I want to make a currency (because there aren't enough alt coins yet lol)
I've started work on the code (golang), but I'm unsure of a few things:
  • How to find people to collaborate with.
  • How early to release the source code.
  • How to avoid fading into obscurity.
  • Perception of pre-mining.

Constraints:
I certainly don't want to do an ICO. I do not want the currency to be viewed as a medium of exchange rather than a strict asset to be HODL'd, (I've become to afraid to purchase anything with my bitcoins lol, instead buying low and selling high).

Any tips, opinions and critiques are welcome <3

If nothing else I think alt-coins prove interesting experiments.

To find a team of developers you need to use the service linkedin.com. It is a social network created to find and establish business contacts.
