Ogah I no talk say you dey provide those site with any sensitive information, I say those sites with the triangle and open padlocks dem nor dey secure based on say hacker fit use those sites take enter inside your device as your connection nor dey secure with those sites. Even dark web sef na so e dey and if you no use better VPN before you enter, you go collect wattin no nice. The site wey I talk about you giving out useful information na all those online giveaway dem wey dem go say na federal government dey do, then dem ho come give you form make you for fill, and after every thing dem go still ask you to share the link by referring other to the site wey go take their information.

Normally if person just create site new and e never buy domain na so the site go dey, so to the intention of the web developer fit nor dey to scam people but other wey sabi hacking go just use that one as advantage to enter your device, I don see device wey dem don hack before naim make me dey strictly say make we avoid those kind of sites dem.

Not all this site with this stuff are scam so far they are not requiring any input of sensitive information  other issues can make a site to be like dis  but mostly used by scammers.

Most  http sites are tagged with this because most of http site are temporary and are use for getting victims over a short period of time . Mostly  days


On this , not all have no intention of scamming ,informations required  determine  their  reputation.  And most times  browsers settings  can be used to fish out this site some might only review the Triangle sign based  on your browsers  settings .

Search Engine   also play a major role, if you are using  search engines  used for deep or intermediary  level of searching then you might come across this this sight because most of this sites are  hidden by the watch dogs .

For the safety part of clicking the the link sent to you by a stranger, the first thing I do when I receive such messages is to check up the account of the sender if it's hacked or not, and will also search for the test attached to the link online to ascertain if it is a common format that they've used repeatedly on unsuspecting victims. The funny thing about these guys that send all these links for hacking your account is that they are not organic with the words they use in convincing you to click the link and most times, they will just drop multiple messages to different DM and in different groups so those that can't control there sense of curiosity and the one that is looking for easy money platform will easily fall victim.

But if you want to do it the easy way, there are sites online that you can use to check if a link is safe or not. Example of those site include;

And others you can easily search up on so when you are not convince on the link you are sent to, you can check it up for it authenticity.

My brother no be lie wattin you talk oo, these people nor dey rest at all as the technology dey increase na so dem sef dey get new strategies to use take scam people, some kind times we go say na the victims their fault for make the scammer use their head but the truth be say, if na you dem use that first format for even before banks start to advertise say make we no share OTP, you for fit fall because dem go give you reasons wey go first make you believe say na your bank customer care dey call, dem go call you full name and some kind personal information first wey na your bank get am. The world is filled with scammers and when you compare the ratio of how updated the so called scammers and ordinary people you will see that these scammers are always one step ahead thats why it's always advisable for all of to keep our selves update on the recent tricks that these people are equipting themselves so as we can know how to avoid such scams and not be a victim of their tricks.

As for link, there are ways you can identify fake link. like me, how I know if a government empowerment or employment link is real is when the link end with . ng. Any link wey no be like this I don see am fake and true true na fake.

  Call scam Dey occur steadily for Naija and no be something wey fit jus go out of existence, e go still Dey sup and people go still Dey fall for the scam. The way wey dem Dey take sabi some crucial details about you sef Dey shocking. These call scams sef Dey occur for different formats. Make we use the atm card format as an example. Now person go beep you, first mention the bank wey you Dey use correctly, tell you say your atm go soon expire say you apply for upgrade but them need some of your details to finish am up. Omo the truth in this their intro sef go make you believe asap, next thing you don give them card number, expiry date, cvv and even pin without you knowing. Before e clear you for eye, excess debit alerts.
    The second format na family, friend or relative format, dem go call you tell you say so so so person Dey this situation say make you help am so him go fit comot from the situation, first task, you go send airtime, then as the jonzing continue, you go start to Dey make red to account wey dem call for you. Everybody eye Dey red for funds sha but ways Dey make we no Dey fall victim abeg.Sometimes just try Dey reason some kain things well before acting even if the whole story sounds true and promising, for the ones wey get true caller app for phone, you go fit detect when some calls na scam call based on the reports from other pole, so true caller fit help show you say that particular number na fraud. In all sha make we jus Dey vigilant, e Dey painful when scam hit us so we gats do our best to avoid am.

The call scam don happen to me before 2018 when I first open my bank account somebody call me him come tell me say my bvn get issue at first I suprise because when I open my account no issue about bvn so I been dey wonder wetin dey sup but as him tell me say I no go fit withdraw money with my ATM card say if I slot am into the machine say e no go come out na for their I take fall for their crap I call my ATM deatail give am na so e wipe my money from my account since then I don wise I no dey losegaurd again.

I don hear of situations were Dem go call person say make him go any pos Machants, go transfer certain amount of money to accounts wey Dem give am. After Pos machants don send the Money to that account, Dem go come ask the guy wey come deposite say wey him money. him go sey him no Get money. By that time the jaz don clear for eye. So sometimes no be how smart you dey because people wey fall for scam today ones excaped before..

The way scammers they look for every means possible on how them go take scam people they very bad, and them they use different strategy to get people I almost fall for them one certain time way them call me for phone say my bank account get issue and for them to help me solve am I go need send them my twelve digit code way they for the back of ATM card and after then I go receive a code and I will send it to them so I shout for them, na so I take escape ooh.

Scammers have always been using different strategies over the years and I tell you that if you want to be free from scammers then don't be too anxious of this you see online or on social media.

Whenever you hear about a particular thing or information just digest it with caution, ask questions and make sure that even if you are giving evidence you still need to inquire from people before you can confidently give in. And don't disclose your discreet information to people more especially on social media. Be careful with the kind of conversation you have with people so that you won't reveal your personal security information.

Supporting this post, I have to add more stress about mining sites and anything you here about cloud mining and profits is absolutely fake and I don't care how authentic they might prove to be, just avoid anything that has cloud mining in it, hence oncw you hear anything cloud mining and investment as well as profit all link to one thread, please run as there is nothing profitable about cloud mining Bitcoin or even any cryptocurrency currently now.

All we already know say these scammers no really dey play and there are several ways these scammers go always turn up, and them no care who there victim be as long as them go make money and hence, make we all dey active and always try to notice every scam attempt.
Recently, I got a message wey dey claim to be bank customer care and I don use them care serious cruise.

Na the message be this.

This remind me about my dad chat with a scammer on oyibo disguised. The scammer built my dad on trust til a time him send my dad pic of package way contain hug amount of US dollars and iphone13 pro-max  way him dey ship in to my dad & my dad dey excited of am & him no tell any 1 all those while til the day them tell am say the package don reach 9ja Rivers State Port Harcourt. Out of over excitement my dad call to share the good news with me. Then I tell am say na scammers them be but him argue me til I tell am say... ok watch them go reach u to say the goods is ready for clearance (claim) & them go ask u to pay for clearance fee.
Not up to 30mins them call am just exactly as I guess tank God him no do the payment cuz I don clear him doubt. Then ask am to pay any amount demanded 4 the  package clearance charge without an excuse cuz him get more than enough in the package.
Then I let my dad know say if them fit send u such amount of money y them no fit pay the little clearance charge fee? Na there my dad tink twice.

I actually learnt that 4rm my online South African friend who shared her story when we newly met on Facebook.

I am sure if my dad never brought that to my knowledge or if he had ignored me he would had fall a victim to the scammer.

Scamming can com 4rm any pattern so if u must b its overcomer then u must take these notes...
* Keep off mind 4rm glitteries
* Keep off greeds and share opportunities with loved (trusted) ones
* Eliminate emotion/sympathy 4rm any means of finances.

Mind u... Na mostly when we dey attracted to use small money get big & bigger money overnight dey cuz most scamming victims.

Honestly I been think say I go see more crypto related tips since you mentioned say na tips to avoid been scammed and since this na crypto forum. As e come be general tips why you no include others tips so the thread go carry weight, just three tips isn't enough. For this call scam, I dey always talk say na you dey make yourself fall for the scam because of your ignorance and greedy nature. Why person go call you in this 21st century come scam you in the most dumbest way possible. How dem go tell you say make you send them code and you go do am. Even with juju self you suppose no fall for those type of scams. Or when dem call you say your ATM get issue and make you send them your pin dem, with all the ads wey bank dey do say dey will never call you to ask for your sensitive information, you still dey fall mugu. Na you no value the money wey you get or maybe you no suffer get am because if you been surfer you go guide you money with all your life and become very security cautious to avoid becoming a victim of scam.


All mining sites especially those cloud mining companies are all Ponzi scheme and should be avoided. They make their money mostly from referrals and the ads wey dem dey displays show you. Mining no be easy thing that start up because e dey very costly so nobi wetin anyhow companies fit do. This is why those companies no dey last because as people stop to dey register, their money go finish to pay their previous customers and them go disappear like every typical ponzi scheme. Instead of trusting those companies no mata how legit dey claim to be, just buy Bitcoin with your money and hold safely or probably go into cryptocurency trading if you get small knowledge of trading from the past like you been dun do forex trading before or other financial market trading.

My brothers and sisters I come with one ogbonga information come wey go fit help us identify scams dem wey dey trend every where, so we sef nor go fall victim. And the thing wey dey pain me pass for all these scammers and yahoo boyz na be say, dem nor care to know weda na only that money wey u get for ur life, so long as say dem don get access to ur account dem go wipe every thing finish. And because of all these kind shocking news some people dey from there dey pass out because of high BP, and I don even hear of case when person commit suicide after dem collect all em life savings. Na two category of scam wey I get in mind to share, and the two of dem na local scam(call scam) and cyber scam(internet scam).

Call scam
1. For this one dem try to scam me of resent but I sharp pass their trick, after my ATM card loss, person con call me say e get one interview wey e apply for, but e con mistakenly use my number take write for the paper (reason because my number and e own na only one digit difference so e con make mistake) say now the company don send message to my sim say make I send am the OTP.
But I nor send am because if to say I send am my account for dey bleed

2. My people if person call una say em dey call from una bank to solve small issue for ur account, no give am any more info about your account oo just cut the call, or call am scammer em go cut the call very fast. The truth be say dem go fit call your name, date of birth, state and your resident address so that dem go dey very persuasive but no believe dem oo, those na just information wey dem fit get from different place eg BVN

internet scam
1. Make we dey very careful for the kind of links dem wey we dey click, especially for WhatsApp, some people go post link say federal government wan give palliative, M-POWER don start to dey collect beneficiaries for their project, MTN dey give 1gb if u complete their survey, etc. My brother run from all these kind of links dem oo because some of dem nor dey secure and from there scammer fit hack ur devices.


All this kind sites wey get that triangle sign  instead of padlock, make u no say e nor dey secure oo. Na only sites with padlock sign nai dey secure


2.  Also note say inside all these WhatsApp links dem we fit send our details dem give scammers with our own hand, some of these links dem dey ask for personal details/information for example


And after u don put all ur details apply for the rubbish dem go com tell u to refer at least 10 persons so that dem fit get more victims, and from here naim some person go take know your name and all your info wey dem go use take call u. So abeg make we dey very careful for the kind of places wey we dey put our info dem because dem fit use am against us.

3. Mining sites: if una see any mobile site wey say e dey mine BTC, ETH, XRP etc just know say na scam, at some point some go say before u withdrew your coins u go get to deposit first, while some go say u go buy miner first( some persons fit cashout for like one week) but after that time, dem go carry people money Japa.
