In these days, it is risky for us to go outside with family and travelling with them. During travelling you meet with so many people and no one knows who is suffering from this virus. This is very risky that you meet, intract and faces so many peoples. Avoide travelling, social gathering and shoping .

The mortality rate is not that severe and that is causing people to lower their guards.
However there is very little that we know about the virus and it may affect the health in the longer run.
Avoid travel, unless absolutely necessary.

The coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak is causing increased fear and worries.
I too fear to go out and stopped hanging out with my friends.
Its depressing.
But we have to stay away from each other in this situation.

Wow - so much misinformation and fear mongering. The real question is whether you have developed immunity. If you have, then travelling won't be a problem, unless you hit government quarantine restrictions. If you haven't got immunity, then build it whilst the weather is fine. Otherwise you will live in fear until you do get infected.

btw - don't rely on rushed and under-tested vaccines for protection. At best they will be worse than natural immunity, and they could leave you with a crippled immune system, or worse.

I'd suggest you against travelling. It's way too risky and complicated. You don't know what the possibilities are gonna be out there, y'know? Just stay home and relax, spend quality time with the loved ones Smiley

I still to afraid to go on holliday due to the Covid-19 outbreak. Originally we made plans to go to Greece for 2 weeks, but I do not know what to do.

Shall I stay home and cancel my trip?

For the time being it is better to cancel the trip thinking of protecting your own health The number of virus attacks is increasing everywhere. No one can say when or how the infection will occur even if there are preventive measures.

Actually, now is the best time for the trip. Why? Because a lot of traveling restrictions have been lifted. But there are fewer people who have gotten back into the traveling mode because of the lockdowns.

This means you have the road to yourself... or the ship, or the plane, or whatever... without a lot of competition for seats.

As for Covid? It's basically fake... it's not a virus. The lockdown situation is the "virus." See https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E5meH2iAjIU.

My rule of thumb, don't do it... if you have fears or any reservations about anything, or else, accept the consequences, in case you disregard following your gut feeling or instinct instead.

How can you decided to have a trip when the whole world is still suffering from Covid-19! Think about your life first and feel free to cancle your trip. I think  It would be better for you

There are people who do not believe in covid and they are not afraid of their lives.
Most of them don't have any relative that suffered from covid.
I think that we should not go anywhere this year and stay on domestic land. Next year we can travel abroad.

Mate, i think its totally depend on you. If you have an emergency, then you can go. But you had better to stay home if you don't have any emergency. Hope your money will be refunded

My vacation is coming up in 3 weeks and unfortunately my money won't be refunded. I am still not sure if I should go or better stay at home. Since the planes are flying again so many people are actually going on vacation again. In the news I read that some planes fly with only 10-20% of the passengers present, making social distancing on planes fairly easy. But other planes are completely booked out. I would be very uncomfortable sitting in the middle seat in a completely full plane.

Holiday plans can be rescheduled, but you can't reschedule COVID-19... if you got afflicted by COVID-19 instead.

now the decision is yours...
You are not wrong if you want to take a vacation at this time because almost all countries have loosened strict lockdown rules, but you must be prepared with all the tests that you will undergo, such as medical tests and quarantine 14 days, if you are not ready with these two things you should stay on just home or maybe vacation around your city.

It is best advisable to not embark on any traveling at the moment. Situation in the global world isn't pleasing for anyone to travel. Kindly seek alternative means of refreshing yourself. It hasn't been easy I must say.

Better to think about your health and the safety of whoever will go with you, the virus still active and no one knows if the person around you if ever you go out already have this virus since even a healthy person without any sign can be a carrier.
It's easy to be transmit so if you are afraid best to cancel any plans, you can proceed after a vaccine already available from the market.

Shall I stay home and cancel my trip?

I haven't travelled any city in the last 4 months only because of the fear and prevention of coronavirus. In the current circumstances it is better to stay at home because if you travel there are high chances that you get coronavirus symptoms. Also these days if you travel aboard you will have to follow strict SOP's and you will be tested for covid19 on every exit/entry of the country.

I will suggest you stay wherever you are and if you want to travel, just visit places within your own city or country.
My cousins should be here in my country in holiday but they cancelled it, if they went here they couldn't even enjoy because they will be home quarantine in 14 days. Many amusement are even closed here because of the pandemic.

Yes you have to and never plan for any trips until this covid 19 gets cleared from this planet.

Due to economic recovery the flight services may get reopened in few weeks but it doesn't mean you can go anywhere you want unless you don't care about your life.

There isn't any problem from Covid. It's only a harsh flu. The problem is from the fear that people have. Why are they fearful? From the media lies that there is virus danger that is worse than a bad flu year.

The virus probably won't get you, but the fearful people might - https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCq6oOuhSx7ESreh6m9LGy6Q/videos.

Travel can wait but your health and life cannot,Greece will never change even if you go there next year so why not wait instead?

until there is no cure for Covid19 stay safe and if there is no important thing to do outside then better stay at Home.

I would say the same advice, better wait than put your family at risk.
You can always go there in the future, better wait for the vaccine to be available in public.
Because even if you go by now, when you get there, you will not enjoy so much as you will be paranoid about your surroundings.

Life keep going buddy and we can just stay at home for months waiting things gets better because each time the lockdown is removed a new wave comes. So, don't live with that fear. In theory, we all will get infected at some point, but the lockdown is to avoid the hospitals getting full.

You should not cancel your trip.
Even if you stay at your country you might get infected.
It is the same thing - and as governments decided to open boarders and let tourism activity be active then you are free to go to your trip to Greece or wherever you want.

It's better to stay at home if you are afraid to go to another place. You can wait for more until your government gives an announcement related to the situations in your country, and your government allows you to travel to another place. You can travel anytime you want after this pandemic over, and no matter if the pandemic will end in the next year, you will still have time to go to that place. Right now, it is better to care about our health because the virus is still out there, and you don't have to risk your life.

Yes, most countries are canceled travel thanks to the virus No country's government is supporting it People from one country have stopped getting to another country So there's nothing to be scared of you cannot go now albeit you would like to attempt to stay safe together with your family reception. The second wave of the virus can worsen Traveling during this point is often very risky for your life.

When are you do to go and how are you traveling there? Airplane? Are you insured for cancellations? A friend of mine had a holiday booked for around about now but they managed to get it cancelled and refunded because of covid. Now the various world governments have started to relax the restrictions it might be a bit more difficult to do so, however. If we have a so called second wave you might end up stranded like a lot of people were initially. As for traveling abroad I think there's minimal chance of catching the disease home or away and even less chance of dying from it if you do but if you're very worried about it it's going to put a big dampener on your holiday and if you can't relax there's probably not much point of going.

Just a friendly advise buddy, it's better to cancel. Remember, Greece will always be there and will not disappear, but health is the most important thing now. So go refund your ticket and re-book once vaccine is official.
