For this year I see a little different from 2017, when the price of bitcoin increased then all altcoins will follow the flow of bitcoin, but for this year the price of bitcoin is already at the highest value but altcoins have not moved in the slightest and only a few days there is a slight increase of course this feels different, and for those of you who want to invest in altcoins now you can choose because massive pumd will occur for most potential altcoins, Use this opportunity as best you can.

But there are altcoins that are no less good if chosen for the long term such as Ethereum and Binance Coin. I think these two types of altcoins are good if used as a long-term choice.
The top five apart from the forked coins on coingecko or so can be considered to be given some importance in the portfolio of the average crypto trader. So I would agree that these two can make a mark and you should own them. I bought ethereum at 350$ and look how much the profit is today. I am not selling right now, but hoping I could stock up more in future if prices comes back down.

Today this seems to be profitable, however tomorrow might be uncertain for a specific altcoin. When I bought this stash of ethereum I was in it for a mid-term selling goal but I was not able to and it did me good anyway.

If I draw a similar conclusion for DOGE, I had thousands of DOGE at one time. I sold them all at the Musk-induced hype and made a good profit - using which I bought bitcoin when Musk stated making bad statements about bitcoin - this was good move from my side, I bought bitcoin at lower using that doge and sold Bitcoin back on 60k USD recently.

So this has been risky moves but ultimately paid off. However I do not recommend moving to the coins being launched new or based on recent game events and so - these will burn you out.

2017 was a very good year when compared to the following years especially 2021. In 2017 Bitcoin and Altcoins moved together but in 2021 we can see for ourselves what happens when Bitcoin moves, there are Altcoins that do not follow Bitcoin movements.

Altcoins will never be as good as bitcoin in the long run take care when trading on those, you are likely to get burnt out more often than you can sustain.

I think every year is good if you know how to profit from it.

One of the methods is to buy low when the market is crashing - this might seen simple and told over and over. But assume that you mean 2018 to be bad means that the market was bearish. If you bought at that time and been holding on to them till today in the Q4 of 2021 - you will be making a profit.

Dont name a year as good or bad - that is the easy but wrong approach. See where you stand, how much you bought or sold and what your current holdings are. Altcoins will never be as good as bitcoin in the long run take care when trading on those, you are likely to get burnt out more often than you can sustain.

Hi experts in the house, is it true that present crypto market moves is like 2017 4th quarter? Is it true that there will be another massive bull run mostly on altcoins? I sucks at reading charts so I don't know how true is this

If we look at the market conditions during the bull run, then this bull run exceeded the 4th quarter of 2017. However, the current bull run looks more stable. Bitcoin price moves slowly, only ±3% price change in 24 hours.
Which is completely natural, the price is so high that now the amount of money needed to move it has grown exponentially so the volatility will go down simply for this reason alone.

However I think there are also some other reasons why what we are seeing is different than the previous bull run, back then people were very excited about the possibility of worldwide adoption becoming a reality, however we were very far away from it, and while we are also far away of such thing happening at the moment, things have moved along towards that direction at an incredibly speed, now we have institutional investors in the market and even a country has declared bitcoin as legal tender, so it makes sense that the volatility is lower now.

Only in the second half of this year Altcoins did not move in tandem with Bitcoin, but at the beginning of this year everything moved with Bitcoin including meme coins like Dogecoin as well so almost 80% of Altcoins and coins got their new ATH in the first Quarter of the year and this is already showing the difference which is very far from 2017 mate.
Even though at the beginning of 2021 Altcoins moved together with Bitcoin and almost 80% of Altcoins got new ATH, but there is still a very big difference when compared to the crypto market conditions in 2017 with the crypto market conditions this year and it is proven by several ups and downs in coin prices.

there is no guarantee that the current market will be the same as the market at a certain time, if you really want to be safe then we can choose altcoins that are at the top. if we are going to equate market conditions, of course we must have a strong basis, such as news that can encourage market movements, or technical analysis that can be used as a reference to open transactions
I met with a person who got a loan during 2017 peak period, he did it quickly from his mobile app so it wasn't really that difficult to get it, it wasn't 20k when he got the loan, so he did actually profited a bit. It was either 14k or 16k and I am not sure. He bought bitcoin and then even altcoins and we all know how awesome altcoins was for a while in early 2018 as well. So, he made a great profit and kept on paying his loan monthly without any problem at all.

What happened later was the bear run and the crash of the crypto and that really resulted with him losing nearly everything he has, so he failed to pay the loan eventually and not even selling every coin he holds was enough, which is why he had to pay it by selling his car. Do not imagine this awesome period right now will be the same as the situation 6 months later or a year later.

Weak trading of Altcoins on several major exchanges, makes everyone think about trading about price conditions that are difficult to predict and often many people are trapped by the trade, it is even very difficult for us to deny, the difference in 2017 where many prices on several exchanges were so very stable, even the prices on the exchanges are not too messy, the increasing number of new tokens makes the growth of Cryptocurrency very bad from the last four years, we can see at this time on several exchanges..

it is stronger than 2017. the 2017 hype only lasted a few months and after this it stopped, but this 2021 hype started at the beginning of 2021 until the end of this year very good and stable conditions compared to 2017. besides that I think the market is also experiencing an increase in trading volume and also new altcoins are added. for a big increase I think it will still happen in December 2021, we can see the market conditions in the next few months

I think the current market movement will not be the same as in 2017 so don't be too provoked to see a high Alt movement because if you are provoked to see a high movement then you will get a very big risk, in my opinion if you want to buy more Alt either take the right moment to buy it would be better. This is just my opinion and I am not an expert in analyzing market movements.

I'm not a pro. If we remember how the crypto market in 2017 was very good and maybe 2017 was the best year if we compare it to 2021. In 2017 almost all altcoins moved well and it was very easy for us in terms of setting a rhythm in trading. In 2021, almost everyone can't set a trading pattern.

although many people say that this is the same as 2017 and a 4 year cycle occurs but I think it is a little different because the market so far is not easy to predict and feels more dynamic compared to 2017.
but whatever it is everything will definitely come back as you say.
when bitcoin rises drastically altcoins will surely follow even if it takes time.
apart from that we can only wait and speculate on this.

That's most likely speculation. It isnt impossible but we don't know until we see it. Market moves on its own accord and we can see many factor for it not to happen or bound to occur in time.

Some say it could go wild at the end of the year but remember the 2018 and 2019 end of year. Both are not that good right? So we can't say how turn of events will unfold but of course everybody is definitely waiting for a great run.

I'm not really an expert on this subject, but what happened in Q4 2017, with now is a very different matter. Currently, the adoption of bitcoin is very much, moreover there are so many new regulations that support the development of bitcoin. So, I feel that the current price is much stronger than in 2017. It is also proven that this year, the bitcoin price has crossed its ATH 2x.

in the case of altcoins, we still don't know whether there will be a massive increase or not. however, various predictions and speculations argue that, it is possible that altcoin prices will tend to increase massively, but the time is still undetermined. it can happen at any time. it is also sometimes supported by rising bitcoin prices. you can see in the previous altcoin increases, most starting from the pump price of bitcoin.

Judging from my experience it doesn't look like 2017. I remember that that year was a year of bullish altcoins. It was a massive hype of ICOs and shitcoins. Now I see how Bitcoin is pumping, it is even more bullish and active than some altcoins. I connect this pump with massive adoption of Bitcoin and a lot of good news about it. Bitcoin is accepted in more and more cases, so it is just a good time for Bitcoin rather than for altcoins.

I'm also not a pro trader but most of us just compare the two and they have similar patterns so it's pretty good to assume that the moves might be the same but of course no one is sure of that because the markets and coins are the same. very volatile but what we are seeing now is they are printing the same pattern but it is unconfirmed.

No, it's not the same but it looks like it, this bull market is stronger than we have all seen in the past, more original that's why it lives up to this point, I believe this bulls will last longer than the 2017 cycle, the current market is showing that things are getting more serious around crypto.

To compare the conditions of crypto market price movements in 2017 with 2021, there is a huge difference. In 2021 the price movement of the crypto market was not as expected by many communities and it was proven by corrections several times and only this month made the crypto market a little beautiful because conditions were still increasing in price and we can't be sure that it will last until the end of the year.

The current movement of altcoins will exceed Q4 2017. We can see based on the current Bitcoin price movement. If the Bitcoin movement has started, then Altcoins will join in, although it is not currently visible for all Altcoins. Faster to follow Bitcoin's movement are Ethereum and Binance.
It is better to focus on the top ten or even just top five altcoins if you want to hold for the long run and sell at higher prices. Rest of the altcoins simply follow the bitcoin trend a bit late but not enough to reach all-time-highs. So bagholders of shitcoins need to stop bagholding and dump them at the next bullrun to exit.

Although I cant say if they will exceed 2017, I can say for sure that if they cross they will have a bloodbath selling pressure. Because some people have been patient after buying at the highs back in 2017.

The easier and safer thing to do when the market is rising is wait for the prices to come down, or sell if you already own that asset. So sell bitcoin and hold the fiat for bitcoin to come back down. Dont diverse into altcoins just because their prices might be low and you feel they are going to go up - they will not.

In a sense there are quite a few similarities. But no one can really guess exactly. There are only better guesses and worse ones. And those are educated guesses compared to point blank guesses having technical analysis as the tool. And I suggest that you focus more on this since it will be very important regardless of wanting to be a trader or just an investor. Right now though, I can tell you that we are really pushing resistances to the test and breaking ath after ath. I can't even see signs of slowing down yet as of the moment.

"The projectile does not hit the same funnel twice."(C)
But in the cryptocurrency market, anything is possible.
I don't think there will be a massive rise in altcoin prices, but many altcoins have a chance to rise. Ethereum, polkadot, litecoin, I think, have not yet reached their maximum prices.
Ripple did not give much profit to its hodlers, although I consider this investment in this coin to be risky.

I think a ripple can be a good investment. If they announce that the issues with the SEC have been resolved and, in addition, make another big announcement (plans for development, new integration, whatever), then this will significantly affect the price. Now everyone is afraid of problems with the SEC. Solve this problem and everything will change.
This is not propaganda for buying a ripple, this is just my thoughts on a possible investment. Although it is unlikely there will be a new altseason

Relying on the past to infer the present is a necessity. But also need to be wiser about analyzing old signals, I do not deny what happened but should not rely too much on it, but need to look at the reality that is happening.
We are already in a different state of awareness, but in terms of a trend, it will not change much except in the way it comes to the end. I think the market is really attractive at this moment, if understood, it is possible to increase profits in a short time.

Yeah, but i think the alts looks really different compared to 2017, its like many alts are stuck and down, not following the move along Bitcoin like before. Do you have any clue?
True.
Those alts that don't move with bitcoin are simply about to be dead or nearly dead. Look to the volume of theirs if there's still quite large that they have.
But if they don't have then that means that's the reason why they're stuck.

It's way better than in 2017. Pretty sure in 2017 we only had 4-5 month of hype until then the price was crashed and then the price was still at that range for a long time where people were really freaked out. But in 2021 it's almost been a year and Bitcoin's price for example is still going really strong today as the price right now is $64,430.82 at the time I posted this message. I would recommend to grab some if you have some money.

2017 crypto market movement is different from this year because bitcoins remains in a higher value after a couple of months and there is still a possibility that it will increase more and make another new ATH before end of this year. However, nobody knows what exactly the future of bitcoin and altcoins will be. It's difficult to predict what will exactly really to happen. Much better to learn very well the market and ride on it if you want to earn as a trader. Learn both technical and fundamental analysis because that is really important.

The last quarter of 2017 marked the all-time high of both Bitcoin’s price and the number of ICOs operating in the market and with the startup cryptocurrency investment company like Crypto access Investment Limited, where you get double of your invested cryptocurrency after 7 days. Although prices since then have cooled off, activity in the blockchain market refuses to slow down, turning 2018 into a fundamentally important year.

We’ve been witnessing a shift in sentiment, as well as developmental progress, that is setting the market up for another explosion in price activity. It’s hard to say what will contribute the most to the next bull run, seeing as there’s been so much going on the space recently though. Undecided

With what we are experiencing right now on exchange market where bitcoin price is seriously pumping and other altcoins which is preparing to improve in the market. Those signs that many investors are experiencing from altcoins price few months ago show that before the end of this week all altcoin investors will achieve something massive from their investment. The way altcoin price is about to increase in the market, it will hard to decrease before 2022 for many investors to benefits from their investment.

I think so. But one cryptocurrency that seems to me like it’s going on a serious bull run is Bitcoin, it has already reached its last all time high price of $63,000. I think that other coins that are correlating with bitcoin are going to also go on a bull run, just like I have seen Ethereum on the green and many others.

Coins that I am watching now which I strongly believe that they are going to be going on a serious bull run Ethereum, Binance Smart Chain, Tron, Cardano, Polkadot, Solana, and Bitcoin for sure. These coins are more likely to increase to a really high price before the year runs out. Can’t wait for that to happen.

There are few who can be called a professional trader here, most of them are self-taught, so accept such answers as they are. Despite all the fears that we will not be able to see the new ATH this year, we have already come close to it. And if bitcoin surpasses its previous ATH, and then the price goes sideways, then the altcoin season will come.

Nothing is known when we do talk about in the future. No one does have the crystal ball on seeing on what would happen ahead. No one would ever know on whats the weather on tommorow on 100% accuracy
thats why you couldnt tell if we would be experiencing the same scenario back in the year 2017.With just having those basic thoughts trying to compare the level of adoption on those years
compared into this present then you could really tell that we arent something similar wayback before which its unlikely that we would be heading there.

You need to understand that history never repeats itself exactly but we can see what happened back then and we can see what it is happening now and we can find some common ground and some differences that allow us to infer a massive bull run is on the cards.

However we must remember that predictions can become irrelevant even seconds after they are posted as the markets and the world itself move incredibly quickly, for example the bull market that we were expecting was delayed because of the pandemic and the crash we saw when people finally realized the covid virus will go global, if something like that happened again the market could crash even if its fundamentals are incredibly strong right now.

There are several cryptos that are not moving up , I am referring to cryptos with very low marketcap. So better stick to invest only with top cryptos from the coinmarketcap. Personally I am holding BTC, ETH, BNB, and ADA. I am also holding some NFT coins with great potential like AXS, DPET.

That's the same for every time market at the new ATH. Most reliable top altcoins will increase but some will fall out. I think you guys shouldn't trust the bull market to carry some shitcoins trending. Invest and place your bag in top altcoins, be careful with shitcoins, that's all.

I'm no pro trader but most of us are just comparing both of them and they have similar patterns so it's pretty good to assume that the movement might possibly be the same but of course no one is sure of that since the market and coins are really volatile but what we see right now is they print the same pattern but it's not yet confirmed.

The current movement of the crypto market is different from what happened in 2017. In 2017 the crypto market was very good between Bitcoin and Altcoins. They go hand in hand when increasing or vice versa. The current reality, not all Altcoins follow the good movement of Bitcoin price. Only a few Altcoins are following the movement of Bitcoin and we can see this in the market for the truth.

That's right, there are big indications that the last quarter of this year is similar to the fourth quarter of 2017, so if the same behavior occurs, there are expectations for a very large movement in this quarter that leads to a big explosion in Altcoin and it is expected that there will be new tops for most coins .
This event is expected to start next month and continue until the end of the year and the beginning of next year, but I advise you not to always trust the analyzes, you should always be on the alert and take your precautions.

No it's not the same but looks like it, this bull market is more stronger than the one we all saw on the past, it's more original that's why it lives up till date, I believe this bull run will last longer than bull cycle of 2017, this present market shows that things are getting more serious around crypto

For disclaimer, no one can predict the future of future market because it's full of surprice and also the pattern sometimes is changing also.
So this is just my personal thinking.
The bitcoin bull run is still hapenning and before it's over, the alts won't going anywhere, bitcoin chart looks like to create new all time high and after that become stable. Yes, altcoin will have a big boom and prepare your bag for it.

I don't really know how can they do that as well since those charts have multiple graphs that have different colors. The only thing I find helpful is to look at the past graphs where I think it's matter because when you see new altcoins that you wanted to invest your money with has already have reached it's ATH in the past months, it makes you think twice about whether to invest on those coins or not because it may be a suicidal and you will not recover your capital again if the only thing you have in your mind is a delusion.

The bullrun 2017 is different from whats happening this year. The previous bullrun occur on last quarter and most altcoins are following the trend but this time only bitcoin and few altcoins are only showing significant growth. We cant predict whats going to happen before this year end but I think the alts season will come after bitcoin reach its peaked price and had a correction.

If we look at Bitcoin price movements that continue to rise slowly, it looks like what happened in 2017 will repeat itself. So there is a possibility that
the price of altcoins will increase too, maybe we have to be patient waiting for Bitcoin to return to the ATH price first. After that we can analyze how
the price of altcoins moves, if after Bitcoin returns to the ATH price but the altcoin price does not pump, it seems the trend is different from what
happened in 2017. My advice you start to learn how to do your own research and analysis, because what other people say is not necessarily true
and accurate. If you feel your analytical skills are bad, don't stop learning.

I can say. Absolutely, No one knows what's truth because crypto prices cant easily be predicted even by reading charts. But the only truth is Bitcoin and Major Altcoins are longterm Assets. Although, There are also some upcoming strong projects too. But no one knows how any crypto assets or Altcoin will move at a particular time. Its just speculations.

Hi experts in the house, is it true that present crypto market moves is like 2017 4th quarter?

in 2017 we had pump and dump, people were buying bitcoin to invest in ICOs to make high profits and when ICOs started being scam people left the market and that made the price of bitcoin drop a lot. currently the price of bitcoin has real demand, there is government buying bitcoin, there are big companies and rich people buying bitcoin, and different from 2017

Is it true that there will be another massive bull run mostly on altcoins? I sucks at reading charts so I don't know how true is this

if the price of bitcoin stays above $55000 then the price of altcoin will increase against bitcoin and consequently will increase above 40% of the current price against USD

Altcoins are on their way to good growth as Bitcoin is doing very well in the market right now. If today you look at the chart on coinmarketcap, then the first altcoin you should look at is Ethereum because Ethereum is heading towards a price of $4K. Likewise with BNB and Solana which are in good growing conditions.
And it's the entire altcoin market that's going go if bitcoin price shows up. The attitude of the market towards this has always the domino effect and usually when the bull run is there, almost all of them are not missing it and they're likely to rise as much as they can.
Those that you've mentioned are only the few that goes with bitcoin when it goes up and that's why whenever we see bitcoin rise, we're also anticipating that altcoins we hold will go up too.

No, for what happened is the past will never be the same in the future, you should bear that in your mind, the present happening now here in cryptocurrency was very much differ into 2017, were I'd rather choose to like this time compared into past. Maybe because, by the time I was a newbie and now at least, I have a knowledge about in trading and earnings a lot unlike before, just simple as that.

In my personal opinion (not as a pro trader, because I am also studying like you). Based on the current altcoin price movement as well as the growth of Bitcoin. Of course, this has shown a different era from the previous year, and it's not even like 2017 when everyone did the Bull run at the same time. Given the number of altcoins and prospects and goals that are no less interesting, of course we often see when the Bitcoin price increases, this moment is actually a reversal for altcoins.

I will follow your question exactly, although I know what you are looking for.

Firstly, there will be a lot of bull run for altcoins (not all cases) because that is the future.
If you expect a short period of time, feel for yourself rather than believe the opinions of others.

I recall that. It was just that year that I started learning about Bitcoin, but it was first quarter.  We cannot tell if there would be a massive bull run. Market is unstable and we can only just speculate.
That year was kind of memorable though, since the target was 20k for Bitcoin when it barely just touched that price.
Not to worry though, as it happened already maybe...... a little bit late.

Even someone with extraordinary chart reading skills can't answer your question. You can expect the prices to become bearish at anytime because we are already in the bullish trend for very long time also reaching the last ATH again.

Well, I am not a pro trader but I guess in this Q4, the crypto market can moves significantly, especially bitcoin, because we already watched what bitcoin did at the market. Hopefully, there will be another massive bull run for bitcoin and altcoin, especially for the top 100 coins lists so we can back to make a huge profit. You can just wait for the bull run to come while you can do another thing. That is what I did and I only watch the charts occasionally to see if there are good coins that I can buy.

The current price movement of BTC at the end of 2021 is not the same as 2017 because if the price of BTC goes up with the current price of $62k, the altcoin price will certainly increase in accordance with the BTC, but you can Seeing that the price of BTC is up now but altcoins are falling, it shows us that this year the market has been quite complicated and if anyone is thinking like me, I am sure that this year the market is going down for the most part. Most of the investors only focus on the top coin which is BTC.

Current bull run is altogether different from 2017 bull run that lasted for few days only. Btc is fluctuating b/w 30k and 60k during this whole year. Honeslt no one can predict crypto market with accuracy. We can't say btc from here will be at 100k or 10k.
You need to be exceptional good at charts if you wanna do trading. Learn TA/FA as they are fundamental tools for trading.

I also think so, Looks like this year will be like 2017, But this is just my personal opinion, I'm not a great analyst, This is just an estimate of the Bitcoin price movement cycle based on a 4 year cycle marked by Halving. The cycle may change, but so far it is still the same and if it can be exactly the same then by the end of this year Bitcoin could reach $150K to $200K USD.

no, the current trend is not the same as in 2017. the charts move very dynamically, and it's hard to predict these days especially for bitcoin and other big coins. when I thought the trend was stable, but the next few days there will be a decline and the next week there will be a pump. This has been repeating itself for the past few months. That's why I believe the current situation is not the same as in previous years.

so be wise in making analysis, do not make the situation in the past a tapokan to make analysis today. always see the current situation and the state of the fundamentals.

Firstly nobody here is a pro, but it beats asking others so read on.

Hi experts in the house, is it true that present crypto market moves is like 2017 4th quarter?
I would hate to but, it is better to not compare like that. The previous bull run was smaller and shorter than this one. It has grown over the last bullrun if you consider these each events as steps to a even bigger price because the sky is limitless when it comes to bitcoin price.

Quote
Is it true that there will be another massive bull run mostly on altcoins?
This I would not recommend following. Altcoins are unpredictable when it comes to copying bitcoin's bullrun. Dont buy any altcoin hoping to see a massive gain - it will be a pure gamble based on no logic.

If you are enthusiastic about some coin, you can go forward with it, but my opinion is not to.

In case you got this line from some telegram chatter, be sure to assume it to be pure speculation, nothing more.

You need to improve your habits. There is no excuse for not being able to read charts. It you suck at it, learn it and master it so that tomorrow when you land up in the market, you will be able to apply your skills and not ask others. The crypto market is full of manipulators and everyone trying to fool others to get their own money, asking for help is asking for a "Fool-me-for-free" pill here.

It's true and some big boys on twitter have been posting some picture about that. It shows that the 4 year trend cycle was coming back again. Just look at how bitcoin was breaking 60k easily. that proves that this will happen soon.

Is it true that there will be another massive bull run mostly on altcoins? I sucks at reading charts so I don't know how true is this
Yes it is but it must be after bitcoin bullrun. Altcoin will always follow the bullrun that happened with bitcoin. I have been watching this and i do believe we have been entering another bullrun like what happened at the end of 2017. Just see the all-time chart and you will understand.

I am not a pro trader but I want to express my opinion. If you are talking about alt when then 2017 was best because in 2017 when Bitcoin start bull run altcoin move together. But as far as you can see right now when Bitcoin is on the bull run altcoin not moving so much. So the summary is every time altcoins will not follow the Bitcoin trend. Bitcoin is so much volatile right now. It should be almost stable in a zone like above $50k or  $60k then altcoin will start to move upward. But do not expect all the altcoin will move, most likely few will remain as it was and that's how the cryptocurrency market work actually.

It's way different and longer than 2017. The bull run for this year started ending of 2020 and as you can see, it's still there and doesn't look have any stop over.
