It is better you explore first then invest. You can just check out the official account of Bittrex on youtube for guide. I think this is their channel: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCtkqI5sHrv8NNz0aiDCMe5g

You can even contact their support for assistance. It is great to hold funds on a paper or hardware wallet. Thus, my advise is you create a wallet first to store your coins.

If you are confused about what to do next first study properly about crypto, and the particular exchange you are going to use then you have a brief idea about your investment. Don't put your money at any exchange if you are n't fully sure.

Actually for beginners, buying BTC on an centralized platform isn't really a good idea.

The fees are pretty high, not to mention the exchange rates assuming your currency is not listed.

I learned my lesson after seeing like a major difference between P2P and a centralized one.

Hey, i read a lot books about btc and crypto world and i want to start it by myself.
I am totally beginner.
I know how it works but i dont know how to use it.

Bittrex is one of the platfrom market to trade bitcoin and altcoin.
if you open an account there I assume your goal is for trading bitcoin.
You need to deposit you FIAT currency and then trade in there, to choose what coin best to trade, you can see list of good coins in Coinmarketcap

i may suggest that you read more on trading. what you read about was cryptocurrencies, wallets, blockchain. you should know that trading is a different ting entirely. you should read more about trading before moving into exchange. it is where you buy and sell. there are other platforms where you can buy cryptocurrency without using the trading platforms.

I suggest not to buy and trade or invest right away. Since you are a bigginer on crypto better learn what it is first. Start by history and start everything from there learning about blockchain and stuff. Actually you can learn everything here, we have bitcoin discussion and altcoin discussion. Also, we have local boards here you can try to engage in your local board for better understanding. Again, Don't rush it better to learn first.

Bitcoin Discussion - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=1.0
Altcoin Discussion - https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=67.0

You can explore some other sections too, apart from those two.

Is there any video somewhere you have watched op that led you to register an account with bittrex?

I think you have to understand what bitcoin is first and maybe you're not aware of its volatility. It just came to my mind because your question was asked before and the guy asked isn't even aware of that nature of bitcoin because he was only led to register and thought of making money through those circulating videos on social networks.

Since Binance can trade without KYC but limited amount only to few trades this is a good starting point.
It's not that easy and good as you are thinking. Binance may sometimes freeze your account and ask you to go through KYC even if you hold less amount than 2 BTC-

Do not use any centralized exchange. If you need to buy cryptocurrencies with fiat, go to Binance, get some BTC and transfer it to your personal wallet. If you have the possibility, buy coins from local ATMs. Then, switch to peer-to-peer exchanges such as Bisq or, my favorite one, Komodo's Atomic DEX. Smiley
Also consider mate that he is a newbie. Maybe his focus or attention concerning posting here is probably on trading. Based on the title, we can assume this is his objective to learn here.

Since Binance can trade without KYC but limited amount only to few trades this is a good starting point.

But you must have a bitcoin wallet OP just in case you change your mind to hold some. Trading is dangerous, as everyone advise here by our reputable members, you really need to learn first prior to your start.

I'm surprised no one has recommended switching from centralized to decentralized exchanges yet. I'll be the first one to say it.

Decentralized exchanges are amazing: no KYC, no rules! If you have a non-custodial wallet such as Mycelium and you use a fully decentralized exchange, you are in complete control of your own assets. Feels nice not to be worried about anything, trust me!

I think its better to use binance compared to bittrex as I remember  all user's need to make a kyc on that exchange before you are able to withdraw your balance( correct me if I'm wrong) that's why i stop using that exchange.

I receive  many email from bittrex in 2018 asking for my KYC details.

Bittrex is also one of my favorite exchange I only change my mind using it when they asked me for kyc  .

Seems this is you first post here, so warm welcome the forum. I want to clarify one thing, "you are unable to withdraw your fund from Bittrex without KYC verification", so if you really want to use Bittrex then make sure your account status is verified before make your first deposit.

I want to second that what said by @pooya87. For beginning of trade you choose wrong exchanges IMO (although I use it sometimes). Almost all centralized exchanges require KYC so you have to be ready to provide it. But on the Binance you may trade without KYC although daily withdrawal limit is 2BTC but I think its enough for a beginner. Also it's one of top volume exchange comparing with others including Bittrex.

However, don't hold your coins on exchange for long time. I will prefer to buy hardware wallet like Ledger nano to keep safe your funds. Don't use an exchange like a wallet, they aren't safe for long time. I will suggest start with very small amount to learn more. Deposit big amount would lead you loss since you are a beginner.

you have already failed at the first step which should have been choosing an appropriate exchange. you chose a shady exchange that has a dark history of scamming thousands of its users out of millions of dollars worth of cryptocurrencies.
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=96390 you can also search in scam accusation board for more details about different Bittrex related scam cases such as them selling KYC documents of their users on dark market and claiming it was leaked.

your first step should first be which centralized exchange you want to trust with your personal documents and identity and your money. unfortunately all centralized exchanges have a high level of risk, although some pose a much higher risk than others. right now Binance has the lowest risk (although it is no different than others).
but continue doing your own research and read other users' feedbacks. and more importantly try to familiarize yourself with all the risks you are taking by entering this market.

First suggestion for you is that please don't start trading before gathering enough knowledge about it. If you continue without minimum knowledge you may face unexpected loss of money there.

Its good to hear that you have little knowledge about bitcoin and other crypto currencies but sorry to say that its not enough to start trading immediately. For better knowledge you may spend some time on youtube to learn how trading works actually and you will easily get bittrex trading related video tutorials there.

Personally i am really glad to see your post here. Its always a pleasure to see newbies like you who have thrust of learning and don't feel shy to take advices from others. After that i will request you to read this sections pin posts which will help you to create best topics and polls too Smiley

Best wishes for you.

How to start? , can you be clearer, bitcoin can be used for the following and probably even more: day trading, hodling, investing, speculating, medium of exchange, store of value, buying and selling. You can of course harness all areas of the network, but as a beginner which aspect of bitcoin do you want to "start" with?

The first step in using it will be to get yourself your own bitcoin wallet, there are many types out there, research on it and choose the one that's most secure, once you have your wallet, you can then buy bitcoin from an exchange or through peer to peer transaction(always use an escrow). With bitcoin in your wallet, we then go back to the earlier question, what do you want to use it for? I have listed it's functions for you already in the first paragraph.

The first step is to buy bitcoins, for that there are a lot of exchanges, but i would recommend localbitcoins. And the second step is to do your first transaction, you need to be careful in that step because if you do something wrong you can lose your coins. So, be sure where are you sending the coins.

And any questions you have, feel free to ask it here on the forum and we will help you.

Do you know how to use Bittrex? If not follow their faq.
https://bittrex.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/200049234-FAQ-Frequently-Asked-Questions

This should help you to buy your first coin and I recommend that you should get BTC before anything else.

Don't keep your coins on bittrex. Send them to a desktop wallet.
Install a wallet on your computer, generate a deposit address and paste it into your Bittrex withdrawal address field.

Put FIAT in your account. Then, buy Bitcoin or whatever you want.

This may help - https://www.weusecoins.com/en/getting-started/

Also, just google for how to use bitcoin or whatever and that should  pull up more like that. Cheers and good luck! Smiley
