I can't stand BitPay and their toxic business ethics. Too bad they let the bias of their shareholders (Roger Ver and Bitmain mainly) against Bitcoin suffer their business. They deserve to sink lower and lower.

I think it requires consensus on a larger level to allow this to happen. According to what I remember Roger having said once, there are BitPay employees getting paid in bcash. In other words, more people than just the shareholders are in, and thus very likely have no problems at all with these twisted policies.

The problem I have with donating to the more recognized mainstream charities, is that in most cases you end up having to fill in so many personal details that it just isn't worth it to me. Years ago there was an option to either donate 'anonymously' or donate and fill in the details that also allows you to claim a tax refund. Probably related to shitty regulations.  Lips sealed

2. Few of them use BitPay, which is very annoying for some people.
Quite a few actually. I rather donate to a charity in fiat than to use BitPay and allow them to profit off of the payments. For merchants it's purely the convenience aspect that they use BitPay, but for people here it goes much further.

Today the world is celebrating the GivingTuesday, the international day of charitable giving.

This is the right occasion to support some charities that accept Bitcoin and foster the adoption: CryptoGivingTuesday

All of them accept at least BTC, some also other cryptocurrencies.

Long time ago, on Bitcointalk there was a list of crypto charities, but it's good to see that today the ecosystem is embracing nonprofits from all over the world and big names are onboard now.
Which is your favourite one?
its good to know that some charity is already accepting crypto
its just bad in my side that i still don't have enough bitcoin to donate today
i just hope someday every one of us can earn big by supporting bitcoin and other cryptos so we can all make some donation.

Thanks for the link. It is good to see all these projects that accept cryptocurrencies. I was amazed at the amount of official companies accepting these payments.
Cryptocurrencies have broken boundaries between countries and thus donation has become easier and more reliable as payments can be made without the need for third parties.
I hope to see platforms like Gofundme
It's good to see such platforms like this that supports cryptocurrency as means of donation. What a job for cryptocurrencies making donations easier all around the world.
What I think they could upgrade is the number of their accepted cryptocurrency coz there are lots of crypto-charity yet the accepted crypto are limited, they only accept bitcoin, ethereum and XRP in general.
Having said that these charities are beneficial there are still problems with it like for example with GoFundme there are still missing withdrawals and error on their part.

Heads up on that one. Using crypto as mode of payment to charity organisations is really a good a idea as you won't have to go through much stress.
Here is also a thread of a Bitcointalk Charity Program you may want to add that to your list too.

There are already platforms like Gofundme, you can run your own if you have BTCPay server setup. One of the free options is for you to setup your own pages for yourself or anyone you want, where you can accept bitcoin donations direct to your own bitcoin wallet with no company in between. I setup a demo page a few months ago for one of the companies I work with in South Africa to see here: https://btcpay.bitcoinzar.co.za/apps/3HttP6btREe41CkzvGe6GDaL4Udy/crowdfund

Using BTCPay server you can basically run your own Gofundme server
