Don't really mind that much if bitcoin price goes down because it will recover after the news about Bitcoin and ICO's China is banning. This has been said over and over again that Bitcoins price fluctuates so expect it to rise and fall with all the news thrown at it.

They most recent drop happened after the fake news of china banning bitcoins didnt it?

You're definitely right, and that's why i totally disagree with the following definition from https://bitcoin.org:

Bitcoin is open-source; its design is public, nobody owns or controls Bitcoin and everyone can take part.

I always say: Bitcoin can be controlled by Media.

I did not think like you said before, but after these last occasions I saw that most of Bitcoin is controlled by the media. It does not have to be a genius or an economist to see it, Bitcoin rises when good news is made, and falls when bad news is made.

This business has begun to spin, and I'm sure investors are bored.

shouting (making your text big and red) does not make it more true!

the fact is, any asset in the whole world is affected by "news" and news comes from the "media". the effects are different based on the news and the asset. but the effect is inevitable.
with bitcoin, there are far more idiots investors than any other asset. that is why the swings are also bigger. but also there are a lot of opportunists who will gladly take their coins out of their hands under market price.

you can not really call this "control".

This drop is not mainly because of the ICO ban in china, this may be because of simple corrections or just a normal downswing in the market. Why are all these newbies so obsessed with everyday or even every hour changes. How long have you been watching the price of bitcoin, a month or two? Do yourselves a favor and zoom out in your graphs.

Not really a bitcoin topic, people can be manipulated by the media.
I don’t believe that bitcoins are going to be ruled by media or any other thing at all. China is trying to do this thing that is the reason she is banning bitcoins all over cities and then she has started banning exchanges and ICOs etc. Bitcoins are decentralized and no one can snatch their freedom at all.

Bear season or just the beginning
I think every news coming out as long as it is related to bitcoin and other currencies it usually affects the prices of the cryptocurrencies in the market. I'm not sure if I am the only one who noticed it or it is usually what is happening.

Hello Cryptoguys,
As you may have noticed today, a huge drop in the price of Bitcoin, and this due to the ban on ICOs(Initial coin Offering) in China by the the Chinese government. And for that reason, Chinese investors start to freak out, and they could be trying to exit cryptocurrency markets as soon as possible.

And now, Bitcoin start to recover :

I don't know what is this but it seems we are just got played by the chinese government because a lot of them are unreliable source. the chinese are temporary ban the ico and this still becoming a rumour for everyone in the crypto and there is no more clarrification from the regulators.

I do not know why, but I think it happened after the speculation that etherdelda was hacked.
