Why is Quark up so much? Was there news?

Quark I'm not sure, I don't have any. Vertcoin, kind of one of a kind and right in the process of being discovered. It was released 3 weeks ago and is ASIC resistant (no mass mining and no premine, real distribution like bitcoin and litecoin were supposed to be). So they have a really solid coin and getting a lot of spec interest from longtime bitcoiners and litecoiners. And they are doing a pretty good job with promoting... though the performance is pretty self-explanatory I guess.
Buy wall went from 5 BTC yesterday to near 20 BTC tonight

Haven't seen anything like it from an alt coin, pretty sure we'll see the dollar range soon. Serious buying interest building, not much supply yet.
