I have seen many threads about challenges and delays new guys face in buying their first significant number of Bitcoins:
1.) setting up a Dwolla account, waiting days for verification, waiting days to fund it, waiting to have your transfer accepted to buy Bitcoins on the exchange at Mt.Gox (and paying their commission)
-or-
2.) setting up GPG, getting a rating, learning the OTC order system, figuring out who reputable traders are, how to avoid scams, and which payment processors to use to buy Bitcoins over-the-counter on the #bitcoin-otc IRC channel
For customers of Chase bank in the U.S., I present a better solution, toffoo's NEW GUY SPECIAL:
I offer to sell up to 50 BTC, at a small premium to the prevailing Mt.Gox offering price, to any new guy who would like to buy Bitcoins with Chase's QuickPay service. *** No trust, no rating, no verification, and no waiting required. *** Have your new Bitcoins in your wallet in a matter of minutes!
QuickPay is a good option for Bitcoin trading, as it is quick, secure, completely free for both parties, setup is instant for Chase customers, and it avoids most of the chargeback/TOS violation issues of using payment processors like PayPal (which I do NOT recommend!). See more details and sign up here:
https://www.chase.com/online/services/quickpay.htmYou can see a real-time updated estimate of where I can offer to sell you Bitcoins by clicking this link to my sell order on the #bitcoin-otc order board:
http://bit.ly/toffooNewGuySpecialThis offer is only valid for Chase banking customers in the U.S. making payment via QuickPay, negotiated via #bitcoin-otc IRC channel, which you can access with an IRC client or here:
http://bitcoin-otc.comPlease do not leave orders here in the forum as I do not check it often and I will not trade Bitcoins via forum posts or messages.
I do not stand to earn much with this offer, but I thought I could do my little bit to expand the reach of Bitcoin, help out some new guys, and encourage the use of #bitcoin-otc and Chase QuickPay (and DISCOURAGE the use of PayPal!) for OTC trading.
ps: for non-Chase customers, there are similar services such as Popmoney and ING Direct that personally I cannot accept, but there are others in the channel that do
pps: for non-U.S. Bitcoiners, I'm sorry, apart from PayPal (yuk) I do not know of a good international option for online payments
