I think there are some possible issues with the scheme of algorithm scrypt/POW to be discovered in the future, as it has been less widely used and often misunderstood and also there's some security issues as well, which doesn't really result in the benefit of any of the parties.Whereas user engagement is maximised in case of Hybrid (POW/POS), benefitting both of the parties. I think it wouldn't hurt for a change.

Actually I want such change. We know that the previous system has some problems and so to convert to a hybrid process is really needed. I hope that such hybrid process will make the token popular also.
As I know the news thinking to do so. Depends on your choice what you want. I guess it is needed to do some change.
I think it is a very good change as POW system is very advanced and it will resolve the problem of consumption of energy while mining cyprus.
Upgradation is a common phenomenon of crypto market. So, the change is nothing impossible as many of the giants have already planned for the change to happen.
