Thank you for your reply. I think I've solved it by logging into my old MetaMask account on my work PC. I've made a very small transaction of 1 dollar worth to the old wallet to pay for gas. On my work PC I've initiated another transaction to transfer the POWR to the new MEW and it seems that is it was successful. I'll let you know when I received the final verification. Thanks again for your help!

Ok, so I googled for about 2 hours but cannot seem to find a solution for my problem, I'm hoping some experts here have the answer how to solve my problem.

I had a MyEtherWallet which I could enter with Metamask. However, this wallet didn't display my private key or paper wallet. I thought this was some kind of error (noob here in case you didn't already notice) so I decided to create a new MEW.

I transferred my funds to this new wallet but I made the mistake to first send all my Ether (all 0.017 of them) and I had 21 PowerLedger tokens which I wanted to transfer. This was my second transfer. not knowing I needed ether for gas. So my ether was received, but the PL tokens never arrived.

Since I've now made a good backup of all keys, somehow, I don't have the keys of my former MEW (since this was the whole reason I made a new one) so i can't get in back there to check if the PL tokens are still there because I set MetaMask to open the new wallet.

Can I somehow still receive these PL tokens on my new wallet? I was thinking to transfer 1 dollar worth of ether to the old wallet, maybe the transaction was being on hold on thereand this little amount of ether would do the trick to pay for gas so the PL tokens can still be transferred to my new account. Or would this transaction simply be canceled when there is no money for gas? Meaning I would make a new transaction from that MEW account.

I know for some of you this is penny talk but I'm a beginner in the wonderful world of crypto and want to really know what I'm doing before I move to bigger amounts. This story is proof that that was a good call.

Can someone help me out? Even though PowerLedger had quite a drop in price, it is still €30,- worth of tokens that I want to add to my portfolio. Thanks for your help.
You can try to check the available balance in your old wallet again. As far as i know, about the fact if you are sending tokens without any gas for fees and your transaction will never be delivered, or i can say it's just stuck in tx pending and it will never be broadcasted into the blockchain. Just recheck it. Can you tell me about your old address wallet and I can help you to check it.
If your transaction still says pending and then you will be able to replace it with a new one that contains gas to pay the fees.
