This sounds too good to be true, if I were you I'd test for hours and see how the GPUs perform, maybe there is some issues when the rig gets hot few hours later who knows? There is no way you can buy 8 pieces of those cards for 4000$ that's impossible

Even if it is LHR GPUs - this is too cheap. If the seller location near your - you can visit him and check. I saw 2-3 times such prices from real sellers and didnot buy it aware of scammers. But mostly such prices means scam.
In any way - no money until you get a rig.

Probably a scam however its possible the guy became a crypto millionaire and just wants to get rid of his gear because the profitability isn't there anymore and he was wants to sell it fast. The profits have dropped alot in the past month or so and he rather sell while it still has value than get less for it in the future.

Either way, you should never meet some stranger at their place. Meet somewhere public like a coffee shop or police station since you are dealing with that much cash. However if you meet in public your issue will be that you can't test the GPUs since it'll be a hassle bringing a desktop with you. So there is the issue with the GPUs being damaged that way.

Sounds too good to be true...probably is.
I don't believe that, there is no such thing as too much money mate and even those who are millionaires through crypto still end up building crypto mining farm, this looks suspicious as hell probably stolen or it's a trap to lure someone indoor since they will have to test the rig, OP be careful

Guys someone trying to sell me a 8x RTX 3070 for 4000$ in my country but I don't even believe this is real because this is definition of too damn good to be true, GPUs are still damn costly as we all know it so even if this guy got them cards at MSRP well ETH mining isn't even over yet, that's 1000$ every month @ 500MH, tell me ain't something fishy here? 🤔🤔🤔🤔

It is a great price and very likely he is a scammer.

but maybe he built the rig in december purchased it at msrp about 4-5k

mined it for six months and earned a lot.

he is now dumping at cost for a quick profit.

I have a dozen 3000 series cards purchased at msrp.

in 2020. I could sell them now at msrp it would be pure profit.

i choose to mine them cause i have a very good location to mine them.

if i lost the location I would sell them at good prices.
so if he lost his location but fully paid the gear off it could be a clean deal.

you need to be sure you get delivery and that it works but check it out maybe it is good.

my guess is no

Check market prices in your country.
There are no such prices for the $ 500 RTX 3070. If this were true, then he would have sold these video cards in a few hours.
I don't know what your crime rate is, but you can make an appointment and go there with a friend. Leave the money with a friend, if everything is in order, then call him and ask him to bring it.
