All legendary and Hero members please dm as soon as possible.

Or, better yet, don't.  You can't post altcoin giveaways here, even if you're being disingenuous and sly about it.

BitcoinFX is the name when it comes to name a legendary of the forum. He has a lot of contribution, an early member of the forum. He is the 30th member of the forum.
OP, you should know that there's nothing wrong with wearing a signature. In fact, that's why the signature spot is given. Why are you attacking DooMAD with his signature?

Beware those with ulterior motives.  OP is just looking for people to legitimise their crapcoin.  Pay them no attention.  The intent behind creating this list has absolutely nothing to do with supporting Bitcoin.

They believe if they can name-drop some respected members, people will be more likely to send BTC to their burn address in order to redeem the shitcoin they're attempting to shill.

“Beware those with ulterior motives.”

You are correct. Look at your signature. One could say the only reason you post is to get people to see your click bait. One could say that every ounce of your Activity: 2730  is  to promote your Chip mixer

That's an interesting deflection.  Now please address the accusation that you plan to contact the people in this list you're compiling with the aim to distribute your token.  Can you honestly attest this has absolutely no connection to your so-called "Stewardship Protocol"?  You're not going to contact a single one of these people regarding your project?

You can advertise things in your signature space.  There's no inherent dishonesty in that.  But if you start a topic asking for renowned Bitcoin supporters and then try to manipulate that group of people in an attempt to promote something that categorically isn't Bitcoin, then don't get all uppity when people accuse you of misrepresentation.

If you aren't endorsing their Bitcoin-Ego vanity project and your username is on this list, you might want to get it removed fairly promptly.  This "Bitcoin-Eco" user is a truly cancerous leech:

Stewardship protocol- In the event NOT enough participants are available  to provide a strong decentralized CORE network for Bitcoin Eco the stewardship protocol would be implemented.  The protocol distributes small about of BTCECO to long standing Bitcoin stewards. This will ensure the direction of the Bitcoin Eco project will be protected by steadfast Bitcoin community leaders that have provided the environment for Bitcoin to blossom to what we see today.  These stewards will have just enough BTCECO to stake to ensure maximum decentralization of the Bitcoin Eco Core Network.

The Stewardship protocol will only be enacted in the event not enough early participants evolve  BTC to BTCECO to launch the Bitcoin Eco Core network with maximum decentralization.

Stewards will be selected among the Bitcointalk community. The qualification to be a steward of the Bitcoin Eco CORE network will be determined among the Bitcoin community . Insight will be taken and final selections will be determined by a method deemed decentralized.

Translation:  "No one cares about my shitcoin, so I'm just going to rope a bunch of prominent people into it without making that clear to them".

As always your words are but conjecture and your own salty opinion.  You can be hateful all you want . The outcome remains the same. You being historically WRONG. Its never good to be on the wrong side of history.

The candidates on this list must LOVE Bitcoin.

And also mandatory, hate every damn shitcoin that is trying to piggyback on bitcoin's name, right?
Anyhow, remove my name from that list, I've seen what you're capable of and I wouldn't be surprised you edit this list tomorrow and make us look like shitcoin-eco supporters!

Of course he has other motives, he talks about love for Bitcoin while he says stuff like this, his 3rd post here:

Bitcoin will eventually destroy itself. In a world taking extreme measures to limit carbon footprints.
How could Bitcoin ever survive such an obvious infrastructure built on wasting energy?

He always claims that he is trying to make those changes because he likes bitcoin, lol! If you like PoS that much why not switching to some crap coin that is a basic copy of BTC without PoW and cling to it. The whole topic is just to gain exposure for his "project".

Funny how you reference this account as a “He”. So females have no place in Bitcoin? Females must not have the capacity to be creative? Obviously a women is not capable of having a seat at the Bitcoin table? Excuse me but your male chauvinism is showing. Unbelievable that in 2021 we still have this prejudice against women in Bitcoin. Its not just you. You never hear the word “her” anywhere on this forum.

Does anyone have resources that might have a list or collection of data on Bitcoin Talk users that could be used to determine LONG standing in the community. Any resources that could better quantify the most positively legendary figures from THIS community.
BPIP.org is the best available one for you. It is the first third-party website to scrape the forum data, after the merit system was kicked off in January 2018.

I am not sure what indicators you want to use but BPIP gives you a few to choose from: Most merit, Most activity, Most trusted, Most recognized.

Two other websites

Thank you so much for your insight and the resources you provided. Will look into data tools to better gain variables to compile a more comprehensive list of the top 100. Thank you again. Time is precious and we thank you for yours.

The candidates of this list are right in front of us. Literally. This Forum has been here from the start. Why would we not consider the members here to be the most suitable candidates? The heart and soul of Bitcoin was born here. Everything else trickles from the source BitcoinTalk. The record is HERE. We just need to quantify the data

Updated:6.21.2021 - As you can see the list below is growing. We will develop other variables to classify ranking from 1-100. One variable is Date Registered. Some more to come will be Actions, Deeds , Well Spoken, Diligence , Weight of words. If you have any other ideas of how we can more accurately rank the list or other variables that should be considered please let us know.

There are just few person that have acted as trusted person for community and not just for the sake of money and glory.
1 Gavin Andresen
2 Andreas Antonopoulos
Another person that I think it was a great mind, and literally a piece of history of bitcoin was Hal Finney.
Last I want cite an unknown person behind an username on twitter " Cobra ". Most of times I agree with his message posted!
As an admin, Theymos is doing a tremendous job, although no one is perfect. And how about Mr. satoshi himself? The name itself is legendary, despite he is the creator of the whole bitcoin idea.

No no.  people with real depth and long standing history in the Bitcoin community. As a legendary member of this forum. Whom  of this community do you hold in high regard? Some other legendary members of this forum that have been around for lets say 7 years or more?

No no. You missed my humour :-D
However, these guys are some guys who make a tweet and the market moves like crazy. In reality, I think they have no care for the crypto industry. They are after their own gains.

I don't know why a Bitcoin Ambassador has to fit that definition. You have Michael Saylor for example who has only been in this world for a little over a year and is clearly a Bitcoin Ambassador. He has done more to popularize Bitcoin in one year than many have done in several years, especially in popularizing it among businesses. They don't need to have been around for 10 years.

Ambassadors or influencers can be changed and they can be scammers some day.

The only one is on my head right now is Andreas Antonopoulos - well respected amongst his peers, never try to hug the lime light for himself. But stay with Bitcoin thru thick and thin and even his Youtube videos in the last couple of years are still relevant today - (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJWCJCWOxBYSi5DhCieLOLQ).
He has many educational books and videso about Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. A good man indeed. Some good videos watch (for newbies)
He rejected 10 BTC from HEX and gave the community a free warning. Tweet

I've been offered 10BTC to do an interview about HEX to show that it is not a scam.

I was not asked to disclose the payment. Draw your own conclusions.

This announcement is free.

I'm going to expect the answers here to be mostly people working directly in the Bitcoin space, so.. on the top of my head, and in no particular order:

1. Edward Snowden - privacy advocate and whistleblower
2. Alex Gladstein - CSO, Human Rights Foundation
3. Julian Assange - WikiLeaks

A list of the most respected Bitcoin community members and their ranking from 1-100.

NOT the most influential.

Bitcoin community leaders that hold great respect for their insight of ALL things Bitcoin. Please don’t include goofy Bitcoin influencers that have no in depth understanding of the heart and soul of Bitcoin. Only people of great substance. The candidates on this list must LOVE Bitcoin. Not people that just hold a bunch of Bitcoin.  Bitcoin idealist, visionaries,  and  imaginative,  insightfuls need apply . If they have a BitcoinTalk username please list it beside their names if the are public.
